Love love Lagman! I’m an Uyghur girl from Kyrgyzstan and even though we lost connection with our mother land in China we love our Uyghur food and cook it just the same way !!!
Imagine being a small child and seeing your mom making these noodles… what an amazing childhood memory… I remember making pilmeni with my mom, and I’ve never been able to find any that tasted like the simple pilmeni we made when I was 4… nothing but meat, salt and pepper inside. And fresh pilmeni doe.
I used to live in Xinjiang and have been trying to recreate these noodles for such a long time! Your channel is such a beautiful place to be! Your recipes are so great!! Thank you for your work
Also, you cook like a real mom 😍 (I prefer it to a chef’s cooking, not that you’re not cooking like a chef as well, but chefs are usually lacking what you have… that love and smile).
Dear Sister, I am watching your recipes one by one when get time in every week from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Hope you will read this comment and keep upload all your traditional recipes. Good luck. Just like yours we have so many different Bangladeshi Recipes because we have six seasons in a Bengali Calendar Year.
Your channel is such a wonderful resource for Uyghur cuisine. Keep up the good work! And I would love to see more grandmother recipes :) (and noodles...and bread. It's all amazing)
Hello Dolan Chick, Thankyou so much for your videos. My Mother in Law is from Northern China and makes this beautiful dish for my family (wife and 3 kids) every time we go to visit her as we live a long way away. This is my favourite meal and it always makes me feel so satisfied and happy. My family come from Poland but my Grandmother who I was never able to meet was from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 and there is something inside of me that makes me think of her when I eat this dish. I have never made this dish as like you said it is always the women of the family who cook this dish and the men will cook the shaslick. Your video has inspired me to cook a complete Uyghur meal/feast for my wife’s upcoming 40th birthday. I feel it will be my way of showing her how much I really do care for her and I hope she will love it. Thankyou again for your great videos and I look forward to cooking each recipe you have posted. I think my children and wife will love that. Have a blessed day and look forward to cooking more Uyghur food. Robin
Awwww, you are adorable! And the lagman looks delicious I've just discovered your channel a few days ago. Already I've tried the Shorba Chöchüre, and it went well! I've been enjoying your language videos too
Your channel needs many more subscribers, I’m sure it’ll come in time. ❤️ (In English you don’t say the “L” in the word “palm” (and calm), you say pa(l)m… like padam-pam. :) Our brain is so amazing that when you know there’s a silent letter there, it actually elongates the letter A to make room for the missing letter L, so the vowel sounds longer… does it make sense? If not, try adding a w instead of the L… like “pawm”, “cawm”.
