Tolga, I enjoyed the prototype video and seeing how it applies to your layout. I never knew so many industries in Miami were served by FEC. I guess I should have paid more attention to it and rail fanned the line when I lived there! It was neat to see the crew using the RTV to save walking. I am looking forward to seeing more videos of your layout. -Tom
Thanks, Tom! The sad fact is, they used to have so many more active customers. Their move to Intermodal contracted a large amount of the carload base. But, they have a pretty commanding presence with industries in Medley and Hialeah.
While this is a mere shell of what it used to be, it's nice to see documented footage of this track still in service. Now let's hope this all stays in service with FEC's latest business trends towards small customers...
Great video, I think these types are my favorite, with the prototype and the model shown together. First thing I thought when I saw that water and containers was East Rail, and then you mentioned it! Nice Mazon tag @5:31 as well. That golf cart, does the industry let the FEC guys use it or does FEC just store it there?
Thank you! Perhaps where it's possible I'll incorporate this format in the future to some videos. I agree about East Rail, the resemblance to the layout design is uncanny and even more so considering the old spur that used to be on the west bank of the canal. As for the Kubota RTVs, FEC uses it to aid in switching in the yard down to Quality Container as well as in Medley. They just bring it out to use it there.
Tolga, great video. The ATV being used by the conductor in the Beer distributor segment is it owned by FEC or the industry? Never seen that before. Thanks.
Nice video!
cool video

EXCELLENT video of the switching and the layout is cool too TOLGA!!! THE TURK™ with the DIAMOND presentation!!!
Thank you GATOR!
so the pulled track, is the ROW still owned by FEC? like the portion where a backup generator was placed where tracks used to run in commerce park?
No clue. Maybe they sold the ROW in that particular area.
Great info and good to see you working on your layout. If I had the time and the money, I’d model the entire city of Hialeah
Amazing!
Great sound!
Thank you sir!
Awesome 😎 video!
Thanks!
@@TolgaEastCoast you’re welcome
