i don't know inof about digimon tcg to know what effect this will have.
but i do know from other card games, that splash cards aren't always a good thing.
maganamon x-antibody (bt16) is a powerfull card, same for imperialdramon: paladin mode (bt17)
while generic counts is considered a good thing, making powerfull splash counter might not, as that will make some unoptainible and the game more about, how deep your pockets are, rather than skill and understaning of the game core mechanics.
wich is always better that that 1 200 buck card investment, changing the game in your favor (the price is fiction, not a actual fact, at least not atm)

      I THINK I GET WHAT YOU'RE SAYING.
I AGREE IF ALL THE FUTURE TRI COLOR CARDS ARE BROKEN AND EXPENSIVE. IT WOULD BE A PROBLEM FOR THE GAME
      THANKS FOR THE COMMENT!

@@ADDARMYOFF it is not a problem if the company keeps the greed in check.
if they make those stuppid broken cards secret rare, the game becomes a deep pocked game, but if those cards are uncommon or even common.
the 2nd market cannot make those cards stuppid expensive, and that keeps the game, a game of skill, not a game of money.
but such greed is to easy to abuse by company CEO.
and than you get Yu-Gi-Oh! aka: komoney as we call them.
