The Ice Snow support in this set is really good!!! And that is added bonus!

If you're asking because of trinity burst than all I can is say that I believe that as long as you control a Liberator trait card in play than it should have no issue due to cost but not sure how it interacts because I'm very certain you couldn't attempt to use it with taomon ace's effect because the card has multiple colors from the start. sorry if that didn't help but thanks for the comment!

EXACTLY! This card just becomes better when you realize that cards like Sangomon search for liberator trait cards so I'm very certain more Digimon will be printed with that skill and will make this card searchable just increasing its viability. Ty for the comment

I don't disagree with the statement as of the current state of the game. But If all my time playing Yugioh and this game have shown me most cards that are "ok" can be sleeping giants when the right support comes through. Also its very clear Bandai wants to push Liberator. Soooo I'm just saying its a matter of time not right now. ty for the comment

@ADDARMYOFF i think its faster the case where they print an option like imperial's that does 2 memory discount 4 for a liberator deck, than vortex magically becomes good over time because vortex resonance was already power crept on release by a much more generic card

@@Triler500 I don't disagree generically speaking but this card has so much more potential with these three things. First this card can search itself which I believe in a vacuum maybe it's greatest strength. Secondly cards like Sangomon show bandai wants to make cards that can search for anything Liberator and I think this may start to be a more common occurrence in future support. Thirdly Bandai is showing that Liberator is the focus for now so i'm certain they'll make broken Liberator support or deck in time. If (ex7 Shoto is any example) Just wanted to also say I appreciate this discourse it made me re look at the scrambles and I think i'll make a video on them because I knew they were good but man. @ADDARMYOFF ayo sorry for taking long to answer, the strength of scrambles and why they are so amazing is not obvious at first i feel, it took me over a week to understand why evolving for - 1cost is the "main effect" its fine, we have seen stuff like that before and its somethign that it shares with vortex, but beeing cost 2 is an upside because it makes evolving into lvl5s cheaper, not just lvl6s, wich greatly extends plays, or even making 3 cost lvl4s like dual color ones evolve for theyr regular cost it really shines and is absurdly strong in its 2nd effect beeing able to rig the top of your deck with any digimon from your trash is absolutely anazing, so many games go by like, i need the perfect draw to win me the game, but with scrambles if you saw that card once already, you have acess to it for the rest of the game, no need to gamble on searching 3,any digimon in your trash is your oyster the other part of thst effect, if you dont control any digimon you can play a lvl3 fron your trash for free, opens up so many plays usualy beeign boardwiped puts you 1 turb behind in tempo if you don't have a digimon in breeding, beeing able to get back into the game during a turn that would otherwise be "dead" is very powerfull, + there are alot lvl3 digimons with on play effects you get to trigger for free off of that too, and if you have a digimon in your breeding and mvoe it out now you have acess to plays that take advantage of having 2 stacks like alliance or effects that require you to delete your own digimon more extreme cases of this are therr are decks whose power is absurdly increased by scrambles existing, that vortex as a card could never enable the main example is takemikazuchi a scramble playing fenrirlooga makes them go into takemika in that same turn trough theyr combo so they can do takemikazuchi, get boardwiped, then immediately takemika next thrn again, thats practically unstuppable dorugoramon is able to get back by just doing lvl3, equip tamer, taunt an oppinents digimon, and theb cus of a scramble you get a lvl6 digimon back on board that can pop up to 2 of your opponents things liberator decks like zephaga also benefit fron it, since vortex lets you attack the turn a digimon is summoned, playign ptero then evoing into any vortex digimon is much more potential for extra plays as i said before space in decks is tight and if a deck has to choose between vortex or scramble, scramble weilds too many more advantages unfortunately most liberator suport and decks so far haven't been good, ex7 shoto is Defnetly an outlier(also ryugumon) , decks that make for good stories in the comic dont translate well into beeing played competitively, hopefully that changes soon

Yeah, this card is really good in the Liberator vacuum, but it hasn't reached its full potential yet as Liberator is still rather fresh, and more strategies are being created by Bandai, so this card is waiting on a Liberator deck breaking through and it will essentially make that deck even better!

you might want to take a look at the "scramble" cards

@@Triler500 I did take a look at them and I still don't think they are comparable in the context of what both the scrambles and resonance do for decks. (In the context of Liberator deck vs all non-liberator decks)

@@ADDARMYOFF It's a bit similar, difference being that Hellbent asks you to have no cards in hand for busted effects. It has synergy with another mechanic called "Madness" where when you discard, you get to play the discarded card for a greatly reduced cost. I think something like that could make the HeavyMetaldramon deck really take it to the next level.

YEAH... Purple seems to really like creating cards that might have unintended problems, but this is really cool still and hope for more purple dragon stuff

​@ADDARMYOFF it's cause purple is very mechanic in style. Not a lot of archetypes so engines can work for many purple decks.
