One more great hotkey is holding alt and clicking on hero's icon, on the bar/panel on the right side. It is going to move this hero up to 1st place on the bar.
@7:35, it's actually used for digging up the grail. The colored area is the same size as the grail map so you can use it to align the corners of the map.

I think you've forgotten few things. You can hold alt/ctrl/shift (don't remember exactly) when heroes meet it allows to quickly move artifacts, buttons in bottom corners with helmet, closes windows and focuses respective hero. Using shift or ctrl + number to assign artifact set to this number, useful when you have say angel wings and tabard. You can switch artis without opening hero window.
@Lexiav I'm wondering if this has ever happened to you or if you've ever seen someone accidentally clicking "Shift + Alt = Delete a stack" instead of "Shift + Ctrl + Alt + Click = Transfer all the army except for a onestack". Hey! The map re-generates only when restarting the scenario in the Online Lobby, otherwise you have to exit out to get a new map. And to see the remaining moves, hold ALT!
@@Hassefar60 It's "Z", if you want the battle queue to show up you don't have to press anything it already there when in battle but that if you already update your game, if you still not update then no matter how much you press it won't show up, it happen to me at the beginning when I still don't know how to setup the game.

Great vid! I'm kinda new to actually learning heroes 3 and this arrived with perfect timing. Btw, how do you merge all the one stacks to one army after splitting them? I don't think you covered that in the video, or maybe I just missed it.
I think most of these hotkeys were not available in original HoMM3 (Restoration of Erathia). One hotkey which was available was "h" on the adventure map, which cycles to the next hero with remaining movement points. I think he forgot to mention this. Maybe too basic?
I guess i must comment here out off context. ok i don't understand how ppl play multiple heroes i know a lot off ppl like me play one hero cause you enjoy it alot more because off huge stats its like drugs. and one more saying when i was younger i did always build gold first and army after never thought about anything elsss plus played on second diff and even then it was for me pretty decent hard. And 3rd i hate to reload jebbus its nice map but i mean you need to deal what you get not to play after 1 pattern.

Yeah, playing one hero, relaxing is a lot of fun, many people do play this way, and me too sometimes :D Just that when you play in high ranking cometetive matches, you have to start doing all these fancy things, but that's not for everyone :) I hope you continue enjoying the game the way you find it fun!

yeah pls teach my friends how to play like pro so we waste even more each other's time while we play the game when we wait for turns lmao. well these hotkeys might save us some time. sometimes I wish heroes 3 wasn't turn-based. specially when u wait 15 min for a turn. because we all have that 1 friend that refuses to use quick combat so he saves 1 or 2 of his units but waste hours of others time xd

If you mean like a creature dwelling / portal, then "Spacebar" is the key.

No problem! The way interact with the hex you're on is you press Space. Should have mentioned in the video too but didn't think of it :D
