I used to do the exact same thing with CIV 4 back when I was in High School. I've always liked video game music, but I think it was somewhere between CIV 4 and Super Smash Bros Brawl that I really started getting into it.
I think Baba Yetu is more immediately lovable, but the more I listened to Sogno di Volare the more I started to prefer it and it eventually outgrew Baba Yetu for me.
Was actually singing this in my shower 30 minutes ago, and then I see this pop up on my feed what are the odds. To actually visualize the song and see how many layers it has, it makes me appreciate this beautiful song even more. 4 years, and it still hasn't lost its glory. Thank you Mr. Tin!
Today i've played this song for my wife. Suddenly she said she got her hair standing straight on the back of her neck.... A few hours later i've tried it again and at 1.37 in it it happened again... She even told me this never happened with any song before... This is the exact moment this song is making me emotional :) People who listen to conventional music always say that the true great composers have gone.... I tell to them, they went to produce music for movies and especially videogames like Civilization. The next artform in human history will be known as Games. Epic! I love this song and often play it on my MP3 player or computer. Add good headphones or speaker and you are in heaven. ;) Baba Yetu is my other favorite, also from Civ and from the same composer. I seriously hope he'll compose the music for Civ VII when it gets mate. :D

Booked my parents for the May 30 premiere concert of *To Shiver The Sky* and they're super thrilled! I'd have loved to come but I live 8000+ miles away. (T_T) So I just asked them to buy me a CD and get it autographed. Haha Looking forward to listening to the entire album!! :)

I can´t read volume two without listening to this. I hope some of you will try to read it. It deserve way more love than it has received.
