    Running shield charger and Gaurdian on Helios could also help with your shieldgate. And Taxon would help even more but you would lose out on aemor strip

    A few things coming from someone who's guilty pleasure is playing Atlas. This is a good build and will absolutely work for almost anywhere you take it, but you can take it sooooo much farther than would ever be necessary for any in game purposes.
    First thing is I wholeheartedly believe the Magistar incarnon is the #1 best SS for Atlas. The raw crit damage you get from the magistar evolution is insane, and it get's even crazier with it's riven disposition. It gets even better when you use Magus Aggress because even though the Magistar isn't a heavy blade it still procs it, and Landslide doesn't use any of it's charges so you keep them as long as you don't swing the Magistar. It's just insane raw damage.
    On my personal setup I think it's better to mod for corrosive damage on your SS with along with having melee exposure, purely because I helminth Nourish over Atlas' 2nd ability. It's more damage for his Landslide and it solves any energy problems once you have Rubble Heap rolling. Also, since you're going to spend the vast majority of your time invulnerable in landslide given that you have the energy to spend it, I opt for Steel Charge in the aura for more raw damage. I think I have around give or take 140% in all of Atlas's stats except for efficiency, which is at 100%.
    Even without the 1400 for rubble heap, I hit upwards of 20-30 million damage regularly. Ceramic Dagger is definitely not a bad stat stick, but the Magistar takes Atlas sooooo much farther it's insane.

    • @lucasy4790
      @lucasy4790 8 месяцев назад

      Absolutely yes. Magus Aggress is like Atlas’ dirty secret and I love Magistar too, even before Incarnon was a thing due to its quick heal.
      Wrathful Advance is good but my personal favorite is Fire Blast for high range armor strip + Healing Flames augment for better Rubble economy.
      Now with Emerald Shards, Tempest Barrage (and Corroding Barrage) for full armor strip and viral stacks seems like an interesting option too.

    We need to talk about the one true Atlas build - TINY RUMBLERS. Atlas is my most played frame (I fell in love with him when PSF wasn't an option and he was my original melee frame pre 3.0) but I've never run him at over 60% power strength since discovering I get adorable little rockbois.

      Just ignore the stat stick suggestion. Ceramic dagger is worse than magistar due to very slightly better stat increases, and especially magus aggress.
      Ceramic dagger:
      Gives 30% CC
      Base stats: 35% CC 2x CD
      Magistar:
      Gives 16% CC and 1x CD
      Base stats: 21% CC and 3x CD
      Also let's you use magus aggress with is *300%* crit damage.
      With the other crit mods... that's a 16.5x CD

    • @hothstorm
      @hothstorm 8 месяцев назад

      the difference between the statsticks is so close the scales are only tipped by the inclusion of magus aggress so being very particular about the recommendation is kind of a moot point. @@CollateralKaos

    • @CollateralKaos
      @CollateralKaos 8 месяцев назад

      @@hothstorm not really, over double the damage is not a small difference, even for being locked behind an (easily obtained, mind you) arcane, and ceramic dagger is excessively expensive rivens wise so if someone goes out thinking it's just *the* best then they would be (for the 3 builds that it would matter) wasting a significant amount of plat, investing forma and a potato just to be told that what you have isn't even the best is a huge pain.
      Letting people know what is best is usually what they want unless they explicitly ask for something less, especially in a power fantasy game where you could get by with the quest weapons

    • @CollateralKaos
      @CollateralKaos 8 месяцев назад

      It would be better to use roar, you will get more damage from using it than wrathful advance as it will multiply everything, rather than make space for more additive stuff.

    • @Em0srawk
      @Em0srawk 8 месяцев назад

      @@CollateralKaos Wait really? How does that work out? I know Roar's faction damage is good, but purely solo, punching, damage-wise (ignoring the bonuses to status damage) shouldn't a +100% critical cause more damage than a x1.3 multiplier on even low crit multiplier weapons? I'd appreciate an explanation, since this stuff does end up fairly unintuitive ^_^;

    • @CollateralKaos
      @CollateralKaos 8 месяцев назад

      @Em0srawk in a vaccum yes, but your stat stick doesn't have anything else to multiply with if you use those empty slots, you can't even mod for faction as it doesn't carry through the stat stick, so removing the need for CC on your build just gives more additive stuff while using roar would be a seperate multiplier.
      With magistar incarnon you should easily be able to hit orange and red crits. Also remember you already can save slots on corrosive simply by using the melee arcane, so you got space to fit just about every mod you could want
      Numbers I can get into if you like, but its very simply adding another multiplier while advance is just making space for more additive stuff, and there shouldn't be any good stuff left

    Ceramic dagger is NOT the best for this.
    Instead, try out magistar incarnon, it will hit 3x as hard as this (pretty accurate stat as well).
    Ceramic dagger gives 30% base CC to your landslide, which up from 5% (35% total) that is quite insane, but magistar will give you 16% and 1x CD base, which will bring you up to 21% and 3x rather than 2x.
    This is a minor, but stronger bonus than dagger, but it gets a LOT better with magus aggress... an *operator* arcane (meaning it's pretty much free to slot) which gives *300%* crit damage to your magistar. That is (with Organ shatter and glad might) a 16.5x CD with a still very strong base CC. Overall, your crits will go up immensely, and your damage as a result will be about 3x higher.

  • @lucasy4790
    @lucasy4790 8 месяцев назад

    I just love and hate Atlas because his abilities works so counterintuitively to his theme as a tanky brawler. Notably, his landslide’s invulnerability makes it pointless to build tank on him despite his tanky base stat. Not to forget this literally renders his passive mechanic pointless as well. The only thing you need to manage is his energy economy which can easily be done with Rubble Heap, Arcane Steadfast and Primed Flow.
    What’s worse imo is that landslide makes Atlas functional enough it grants DE excuse for him to not receive a rework, when half of his abilities are literal dogshit and the augments aren’t any better. Atlas in my eyes has become the new Hydroid behind Inaros.
