- Hands down one of my favorite long battles. I cut out the extra bits to make the fighting more consistent. Finale, here we are!

To make up for the lack of long battle in this game, RGG Studio literally went all-out at the finale. From the atmosphere, the segment between the fight and that Final Destination remix, this battle surely being one of my favorite long battle of all series.

nah the Ueno Seiwa Long Battle was about 30 min the same
Only wish Tesso and Nabe got to take part in this epic fight.
If we get more side character to main cast promotions in future games like what Tsukumo got, then Nabe, Tesso, and Amasawa are all at the top of my list for said promotion.

Missed opportunity to call Sugiura "Pretty Boi", they call him that a few times in the game.
Destination was bar none my favourite OST from Judgement and I was NOT expecting a remix. RGG outdid themselves and when I realized this was a remix of Destination I audibly screamed "FUCK YEAH LETS DO THIS BOYS." I was in such a zone I didn't even realize enemies kept spawning in I was just in this state of hyped that I was kicking ass left and right without even thinking.
Same my dude exactly the same feeling this games are so awesome.

I only got it once, but the EX attack where Yagami tosses a soda can towards Kaito is my favourite in the entire game.

It took me 10 seconds after the fact to realize that he drank the ting through his mask
It can only be used once a fight, and only when near an ally in the "recovering" state.

If I could change one thing to make this already fantastic long battle even better, it would be to add in a dynamic intro to REALLY boost the hype
Iirc, long battles historically dont have dynamic intros tho, as those are reserved for the big boss fights. Putting one in here would be sick, and like you said, boost the hype even more, ngl, but in boosting the hype so early towards the ending, it'd also take a lot of the hype out of the actual boss fights that lie in wait at the end of this whole segment, when we finally see the first dynamic intro after a long hard battle, knowing that we're nearing the end of the game. So having a dynamic intro here would be aesthetically awesome, yes, but very strategically unsound. I think what they have now is perfect. I mean, why would you even wanna trade that intro full of swagger we now have with all the four boys warming up like they're getting ready for an especially fun party for anything else?

@@vspirit There were actually 2 long battles with dynamic intros: The Mafuyu escort mission in Judgment and the burning Little Asia one in Yakuza 6.
The moment I reached this part of the game I had a smile on my face the entire battle, it was perfect and by far one of my favorite moments in the entire Yakuza series
Man, the joy I had when I realized they remixed destination from the original.
To experience it again is a dream.

Long battle are truly long in this game
And we love it
Probably my favorite long battle in the series. Getting to be able to do dual heat moves with all the guys, the gauntlet of enemies all over and the music just all hit so perfectly.

RGG Lost control over themselves with this non stop ass kicking amazing music touching story ending by far the perfect finally
I like how whenever Yagami switches to the Tiger style, the sound of a Super Scope being fired resonates.
when Tsukumo said there's 100 RK members there we thought it's gonna be window dressing to make the fight look intimidating but who know......................................................

The moment the battle starts and Final Destination starts playing, I got chills up my spine and hype soon took over.
Destination was one of the Dope theme of Judgement now they make it even better in LJ

My first thought was Shibusawa but somebody else already used it. So I examined closer and saw Rikya but _when did Rikya ever move like that?_

Whoever thought of replacing most long battles with stealth should be blacklisted. Great game but those stealth segments sucked
Eh, I liked the stealth segments. It gave some much needed diversity to the game, instead of just constant fighting.

@@yash3576 I'm in the minority, but I actually didn't mind tailing, especially compared to stealth, and I actually enjoy stealth games, it's just adding pointless stealth mechanics to games that don't need em is my least favourite trend in gaming
From a story and logical viewpoint it makes sense. Yagami is a civvie and a private detective, where stealth is important. He's not a Yakuza so he can't just go around mowing people down and leaving a trail of almost dead bodies in his wake, no matter how much of a weapon his entire self is. It won't make sense for him to. At the end of the day, this is Judgment, a legal drama detective game, not Yakuza.
So rather than complaining about the stealth missions replacing long battles, I find it more pertinent to point out the fact that the stealth mechanics need to be vastly improved upon and hope that it would be by leaps and bounds in the next game, if there is one. Otherwise, RGG is in the right course with giving Yagami more detective skills and making up for the lack of long battles by inserting an extra long and exhilarating one at the end of the game. This ain't broken. So it only needs improvements-a lot of it. It does not need fixing. At least not the kind you're asking for.
RGG's rain battles in DE get me so hyped, no other game captures this feeling I get like when I first did this Long battle in the parking lot and the final Kuroiwa fight.
Fun fact:the fat enemy's in this game is using Shibusawa beast style moveset.

This scene looked so funny on Xbox, there were no clouds lmao. Same thing happened with Judgment and Like a Dragon
I love how bats are like the chain and crowbars of rgg goons, like I get they can't all have gun but feels like they all go to the same store to buy the same brand
Imagine if Marvel got RGG to make a Defenders game in this style. You can see roughly how the characters translate

Kaito and Higashi: Luke Cage and Jessica Jones
Interestingly enough , Yagami and Kuwana's beliefs is pretty similar to Daredevil and Punisher

Finished the game a few days ago and this long battle cemented this game as one of the best games I've played. Also the build up to Destination with the remix made me so hyped with the crew. Definitely one of the best finales I've played. RGG Studio keep making bangers🔥

Kosaka 5-10. reason everybody focuses on the grunts giving him hit's
Yagi 3-10 everybody gets threatened by a katana so everybody focuses on him though still strong
Otani 7-10 big guy with sledgehammer and hard to knock down able to get in a couple hits
Nakazawa 9-10 he's got a gun and a strong mortal attack need we say more
Yamauchi 2-10 could get some hit's in he's basically Chiba
Nishizawa and Morikawa (grouped because their a tag team) 7-10 they screw you up if you get backed up into a corner
Sugita 5.5-10 basically Chiba on steroids
Also give me honest criticism if i missed anything

They better give us more judgment games. I love yakuza and kiryu but personally I will always prefer action over turn based RPG when it comes to this series. So I’ll take yagami and kaito over yakuza 7+ and ichiban anyday

At this point, I just think as the final battle of this game, there are just too many minions, too long of unimportant consecutive battles, and the bosses are just not strong enough. Unique and atmospheric yes, but I kinda want them to be like 80% as strong as Amon at least.
Not saying it's bad, it just has potential for improvements.
tbh all the boss from RGG using Dragon engine are pretty paper . that's why i dont upgrade atk ,the battle stay long and more challenging
