    What do you think of Ryanair’s new airlines?

    Flew with Buzz just over a month ago and exactly the great service I expected. Nothing more is needed to experience this incredible way of travelling. The fact we can sit in these planes and actually fly to other points on this world is incredible. I don't need a screen or an extremely comfortable seat.
    Modlin Airport is one I've been to many times as its the closest to connecting me with my family in Lodz from Edinburgh.

    Flew with "Buzz" to Bratislava last year. If they'd not told me otherwise on the booking it could just have been Ryanair and I wouldn't have known any difference!

    I believe there are five different Ryanair airlines. The original Ryanair, Ryanair UK, Buzz, Malta Air and Lauda. All are 737 operators except Lauda who fly the A320.

    Hi Don.
    Flew on the original BUZZ airlines (a UK based KLM subsiduary) from STN - LIN) many years ago on a BAE 146. That was in the heady days of start up low cost airlines by legacy companies - do you remember GO! from British Airways? Nah - you're too young!

      I’m too young, I very much take that as a compliment! 😂 I actually flew on GO on as a kid for a family holiday. I believe it was just a year or so before EasyJet gobbled them up. It was those early flight with family that sparked my love for aviation!

      It will be interesting how they add their own look to things once the transition to their own livery is complete.

    Modlin Airport looks tortuous with a long exposed trek to the aircraft. Imagine surviving that place then arriving in the UK to find UK Border Farce are shirking from home or their IT system is down 😮

    Looks like a good onboard service but the passenger experience at Warsaw Modlin looks pretty miserable. However, for £18 it's outstanding value. Did you not fancy braving a 6 hour flight on Buzz from Warsaw Modlin to Tenerife South? 😂

    Buzz don't seem to be any different at present
    from their parent company RyanAir as yet,
    does anyone know why they formed Buzz for the Polish market?

    • @leeshaw9151
      @leeshaw9151 3 месяца назад

      It's basically a way of setting up differing cost structures within an airline. Buzz will be able to offer local wages to all staff involved in the operation which could be lower than elsewhere in Europe for example. This extended to pension contributions and other defined benefits of employment. The airline (Buzz) will have it's own air operator certificate. From a passenger perspective, it's essentially Ryanair

    So basically just a Ryanair flight then, Shame you didn't get one in the Buzz livery. I must say the Buzz livery reminds me of Busybee back in the day. Modlin Airport deon't look like a good airport to fly from though. Never good when you have to sit on the floor 😒
