What do you think of Air Greenland, do they compete with other European airlines?
i just love the livery
Growing up in the 80s, with parents in the international airline industry (and myself during my professional career), have had the privilege of experiencing first/ business class over the years. Oh, how things have changed... at least keeping in mind I grew up in the Asia Pacific (and associated airlines). But my immediate reaction agreed with your comments suggesting that the business class was more like premium economy... no shade on AG but yeah, life (in general) these days is vastly different to back in 'my day'... Love your work Dom, always a pleasure and keep it up! Cheers, Andy.
Another great video Dom, hopefully your subscriber count rises, your content quality is ace.
Thank you Colin that means a lot. I hope so too, but I've always said even if only a small number of people find entertainment and value in it then I'll keep doing these. Thank you for your amazing support again😁
Dom: never happier than when he's flying somewhere chilly! Seriously though, great video. Air Greenland seem sound.
Noticing a theme here are you 😅 Thanks for your support Mark, Glad you liked this one.
Air Greenland look like a cracking airline. That Greenland landscape is absolutely amazing. Great vid as always Dom.
They are punching well above their weight in terms of service! Greenland 🇬🇱 is also just such an underrated place to visit.
Great video Dom. Not sure that “Business “ class is worth double the economy fare, judging by what you got, the meal in both classes looked pretty good and the seats were little different. Thanks for bringing us along.
I would be very happy with the economy service offered against the business class. Excellent Dom❤
For me both classes were perfect good for the price. Can't complain at all, Air Greenland really surprised me with how good they actually are.
Enjoyed the vid but I think I’d stick with economy given the price difference. Thanks for the vid.
Nice video, and glad you’re still doing your bit for the coffee industry!
Got to make sure the price of coffee never crashes 😉
Seems that Air Greenland has become popular the last year, with a lot of Vloggers trying it out. Flying in Greenland is a lot of different to the rest of the world, though Canada and US arctics being a lot of the same, dependent on weather. On 8 flights with Air Greenland in the 1980s, I had weather delays of total three weeks, longest 5 days. Lately 2200 passengers was held up in different parts of Greenland for a week. Ohh, and yes, you ate the green stub incorrectly, you eat it with holding it with your fingers. Originally from Sweden, it is called stövsuger or trästubbe in danish or dammsugare (short: vacuumer) or arrack roll in Swedish, mostly ending up in Greenland with Swedish helicopter pilots' coffee cookies in the 1970s.
Looks like both levels of service are very good. Stunning views.
They were both very nice, I honestly wouldn't complain in either class & Greenland is seriously underrated as a destination!
Ah a new video from Dom! Curious to see where he'll be drinking coffee this time.
Who knows! My guess is worldwide 😉
Absolutely loved this video. Keep up the great work!
Thank you, I’m glad you liked it Jamie! 😁 Air Greenland 🇬🇱 is an airline I’ve wanted to try for ages.
I Like The Livery.Great Trip Report
Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it.
I herad about air greenland fore the first time in this video :)
Awesome! Glad I could introduce you to something new. 😁 Thanks for watching.
Great video Dom! I am sure it was a fantastic flight, really want to do that myself some day. Keep up the good work!
What a lovely airline and the views pay for themselves. I thought the business class was very expensive in proportion to economy. It is £500 difference for a bit more of a comfy seat and a better presented meal. So in effect the meal prob cost £400. Economy did not seem that much different and you got a hot meal included which looked quite nice. It's only a 4.5 hour trip so I think economy wins for me. Great video Dom
You make some very good points! while I loved the business class and would like to fly it again, I do also think that the value offered by the economy for the length of flight is hard to beat.
Hi I really think you deserve more views/subs for the effort you put into these vids I’ve been watching your videos for 1.5 years now and I would love too see some British airways reviews and a Loganair trip from Dundee to London you should alto try wideroe airlines from Aberdeen to Bergen thanks
Thanks for that, it really means a lot! 😁Dundee to HLR has been requested a lot & I'm actually working that into part of a longer trip as we speak. As for Wideroe, I currently want to fly them but have no plan & BA well, you know what they say about late buses 😉
Do a video on Imelda Marcos Airways.
NEW ROUTE THIS YEAR
Be the first vlogger! You need to try Canadian North. In June 2024 until October 2024 they are flying Nuuk to Iqaluit in Nunavut then on to Ottawa. Then you can go Ottawa to Halifax then back to the UK.
Wot a dude am so jealous right now that you have flown this airline and aircraft on this route this plane flew over me in Blackpool last year on it delivery flight as filmed by Josh Cahill and flightradar24 but never saw it because of the clouds but glad u have reviewed it now 😊😊😊
A very good video 👍Reading up the airfield was originally USAF .
Thanks, I’m glad you liked it. 😁 Your right, I believe it was used as a stop over during WW2 for planes going from North America to Europe.
Master of the unusual sir!
What beautiful flights with great food drinks and wonderful crew , it’s a place myself and wife wound like to visit and will do soon , again Thankyou for a truly great channel 👍
Great video
Yes Fly To Iceland
I certainly will, but i do have quite a few flights from Iceland on the channel already if you want to check them out. 😁
Brilliant video! I was surprised to see how big a difference in cost it was between the "business" and economy for a 4 and half hour flight. Was it worth the upgrade for the distance?
I’ll leave you to be the judge of that. Personally I thought both levels of class were great. The staff for a small airline are really on point and know their stuff.
For a second I did think you were going to do a straight turnaround at the airport. You’d have to at least spend the night in Greenland and soak up the wilderness a bit.
Oh we will be having a few more videos from Greenland, don't worry. 😁
Another great video, Dom, thanks. Spectacular views and a great flight in both classes 😊
WAKE UP! DOM POSTED A VIDEO AGAIN!
Loving that energy! you got some to share? 😅
@@WorldWide_Dom Sure! Can I ask if you will ever fly to IFJ with that crazy approach in Iceland?
@@dxvdxbs I've been looking at that one for a while to be honest. Next time I'm in Iceland I might just have too.
@@WorldWide_Dom Woah, I can't wait!
won't be for a while as i have many other trips booked and other videos to release first, including some from Iceland.
I'm not sure that splashing out an extra 590 quid is worth it! But if someone has it why not use it.
100%! & to be honest both classes offer amazing service and i can't really fault either.
It’s not business class but it’s is premium class
