Im over 50 and i just brought one. Its an amazing thing to be liking the smaller bikes. After owning the fastest most $$$$$ i feel im riding and owning the bike and not a caretaker of an expensive dangerous beast.
Shame? Why shame? It's a fun bike, still owns most cars in the city, and it's fun to ride! The 250R was pushing it... but a 400 is perfectly acceptable :). Of course this is not gonna win you any drag race... but hey, this is not why I'm getting a bike for :)
Been on my Kawasaki z 400 2022 for a year now. I'm 70 yrs old. Insurance $650 full coverage. Top speed 120. ( Don't let my grandsons know!). And Im adding all the racing stuff.
Beautiful bike with great upgrades! You and I think very similarly lol. I have the 18 Ninja 400 and did literally all your upgrades including the elimination of some of the tacky decals lol. I took off the 400 and the Ninja on mine, looks 10x better. Three more upgrades you should consider doing is the frame sliders, adjustable clutch/break levers and K&N air filter. Really nice bike though, you did an amazing job. The carbon fiber is going to look sick.
Hey dude, love your vids. Very inspiring. Im in northeast Philly and looking to get a new ninja 650 krt and start recording with my go pro. I wish we were close so we could do dome riding together sometime.
Get a 400, u can get a 400 up to 650 power with a few upgrades, but maintain the low weight and flickiness of a 400. It would still be cheaper than a stock 650
I have rode both. They both look great..hell check out the cf Moto. That bike looks great too for a lower cc. The Ninja imo, is slightly better than the R3.
Just got the 2023 400 5 days ago and already did a bunch of add-ons. New wind screen, bumper delete, and a slip on that look exactly like this one and sounds identical, but only cost $60. Still waiting to hit the 600 mile range break in period.
@@HardcityRaindrops I don't need a year to let you know, I also have the same one on my Honda CBR 500 for the last 3 years and it's holding up just fine.
The ninja400 would be perfect if the handlers were a bit lower. I like bikes with more aggressive positions. But besides that this is a fantastic bike!
Been waiting three years for that bike after getting my wife the teal 2021 ninja400 abs . Love this bike just want a bit more power . Now it’s out and still have to wait for another color scheme . Green just isn’t my jam . But to each I’s own . Yours is definitely better with the red and white . I just want the ZX4R not the RR . So as soon as they come out I either white or black , maybe red then I jump on that . My skills are pretty honed in on this bike . I really love it I just always wanted a 4 cylinder bike that screams and Kawasaki finally nailed it .
Zx4r has a really narrow power band. Mid range and low range power are lacking and after the short high range power band it falls flat on its face. It's gonna need a tune to get all the power the zx4r is capable of.
This is crazy. Was just about to ask you some questions about 400 and got sucked down a rabbit hole of your other (older) videos. Can't believe that wreck. I'm still in your prequel 😂 vids but hope everything is going well after move to Austin and job at Tesla.
Southern Illinois and man the urge to get a bike is insane and love watching every Video man soon very soon will be getting a bike. Love how those mirrors turned Out man slick
May I ask what color is indicated on your bike papers. I have the gray one since KRT edition is not available on our area, but Im planning to have a wrapping. Sorry for the grammar 😊 Thanks
Looks like quad lock has a mirror mount bracket. And on the ninja clutch handle mount there is the mounting threaded hole for a mirror. I think this is the way it’s mounted here. I was wondering the same.
Don’t be scared to buy some Amazon stuff. I am not paying 100 dollars for radiator guard or winglets. For 35 bucks my winglets look cooler than those. Radiator guard is just a piece of metal you’ll never look at. Not everything is made equal and just cause you waste more money doesn’t mean it’s a better over all product.

Hey buddy really enjoying the videos, I have almost the exact same mods done to my bike except I went with the ninja 300 mirrors lol you should take one for the team and try one of those front winglet pieces just for fun lol
@@chrisbutler8059 They actually do work fairly well. I have one on my 400 and it helped stabilize the front end on the freeway more. Great idea, I've been considering this upgrade. Really simple install and the piece isn't too expensive. Maybe like $70, and would probably give the bike a really sick look. Yeah I'll probably be doing this soon lol. I'll probably get it off AliExpress.
So many downgrades imo, trading 10% aesthetic for 25% safety while also throwing away money just ain't my thing.
