These are all fine upgrades but the real first 3 upgrades are, and there is a huge gap between #1 and #2 & 3: 1. Tires - The biggest difference in performance and it’ll be immediately noticeable is a nice set of soft tires. It’s really a night and day difference. 2. Fender eliminator kit - Stock is horrendous back there. We all know it. 3. Slip-on exhaust - It’ll sound substantially better with a lower growl and it’ll look a lot better. Being lighter than the stock exhaust is a nice bonus.

Hey, I have done 3/4 of these! Just need case covers, rear sets and 520 chain/sprocket and I'm done! Thing is, less likely to get speeding tickets and it still gets 55-60mpg. Plus it would be fun on track. If I had one closer than 200 miles that is!

I've been in 6 motorcycle crashes,the worst thing that happens to those engine covers is a few scratches. Fender eliminators are a downgrade. And those tank grips are the biggest gimmick. Kawasaki has great bike designs with great ergonomics,those tank grips just grip your jeans when you don't want them to. Good riders need to slide occasionally from one side to the other. On hot sunny days when your bike is under the sun,the adhesive from the grips bIeeds,and that rubber gets soggy and sticky and drippy over time. I have 700K miles of riding experience on 10 different motorcycles,7 of which I owned over a 9 year time span. These mods are an absolute waste of time and money. I didn't expect this from a channel with this many subscribers.
One thing I did to my 300 was fitting a gear indicator. Easy to install. Recommended. Has grips and case covers. Fitted a lighter muffler as the original was too close to my boots. Don't have a tail tidy 'cause I use the hooks on the tail to fasten luggage.

Dear God no!!! Please for every future bike/car/anything owner, do not use wire taps ever. Anyone can do crimp splices with literally just a pair of pliers
More importantly a clutch return spring. These 400 clutches are so soft, the wind will engage them. They don’t have enough spring to ever fully disengage. Many unsuspecting owners have burnt their clutches way too fast because of this.

I prefer the TST integrated tail light and plate mount. Looks so much cleaner imo. Never been a fan of the plastic turn signal plate that NRC uses, just looks cheap
I replaced the original swing arm with a custom one and extending it by 5 cm.. I shaped it to resemble the R6 swing arm but only wide enough to accommodate a 160 tire.. Although it feels more stable during cornering and looks more stylish, I don't recommend anyone to follow..
Never been a fan of tail tidy. I used to get asked all the time when I was gonna remove the fear fender on my 600. And I got tired of telling people never. Lol
I had a shop recommend a little bit of a wider back tire and this bike literally just wants to go sideways fast man I Lead a 600 group through some back roads and everyone was chasing me and they would pass me in the straights but the second we turned I was point every time lol
@_TwoDot its like not having a radiator guard, everytime you get home there's the shit streak, fix it with a radiator guard and a front fender extender and never get a shit steak again in the rain or on dusty roads👍
Yoshimura makes one too. Uses existing turn signals. I have the NRC on my bike and have not got pulled over, yet! If they give me a hard time, then I will get the Yoshi one.
Man why you say protect the paint from the bolts and then set down that piece on the paint side on that lift for potential scratches, why not flip the piece over. Sorry just bugs me.
oh god, please stop using using those splice connectors that cut half the wire. it's 2023. we have splice connectors that solder the connections while heat shrinking. we live in the future baby!

Interesting colour on this bike....ive found the USA often gets some unusual colour combinations on bikes sent to their market.
Never use resistors for switching to LED indicators, just buy an LED relay for $10-20 bucks and plug it in.

The blinkers are too close together on that tail tidy. Gives no idea which way you're going to turn for the driver behind.
