Thanks for sharing. I think you will continue having traction problems even with the stickier tyres due to the boost delivery of the stock turbo. That turbo is really meant for low-end tq to make the car more user-friendly in the daily driving situations. Have to remember that this motor was lifted from the m340i, which is a commuter type of car. In order to solve the traction issues, the turbo needs to be upgraded to a larger one with a more progressive spool. One of the big reasons to upgrade to the pure800, not necessarily to gain more power, but to smooth out the tq delivery. With the stock turbo, the tq hits you too suddenly and not progressively enough. Which is why the tyres break loose like that. Good news is, swapping the turbo on the b58 is super easy. You can do it yourself with the basic tools in about two hours.

I will have to see it in person and experience it. Starting price is right, it comes with a manual, and the engine is known to be tunable already. The downside is that it's heavier, and the manual is coming to the Supra next year.
I'll also tell you my 370z would overheat, boil brake fluid, and fuel starve.....so there is a price you pay for a low MSRP, depends on what your priorities are. Getting a Z track-ready and reliable costs between $5k-$10k. Can handle short bursts for like AutoCross but hard track or country road driving over longer periods of time is sketchy on stock components.
was meaning to ask you if you had any fitment issues w/ the duckbill spoiler from A90? The drivers side tip doesn't sit quite flush with the hatch....it's fine but more of a gap there off of the tape than i was hoping....maybe it will get better in the summer not sure.
I have JB4 same set up like you just without the meth. Your car goes crazy at 40mcg becareful looks scary lol with my MT 305/45/17 I been hooking even Jesse had to change some numbers because i’m not in stock tires. I’m thinking to add the meth and go dyno it again.

Yes, that is what they run. I have had that question from some of my tuner friends and I have reached out to several of the top Mk5 Supra tuners and it seems that's what it runs at and is happy at.
Not hard, you just need to either measure content and keep up with it with an ethanol calculator, or get a sensor like I have, the Fuel-It. If you are just mixing off of a calculator, every 3-4 tanks I recommend going all the way to zero e and running a couple tanks of pure gas through it so that you reset and know where you are on e content. I did a video where I talked about this a while back
Very helpful video! May I ask which phone mount you are using? Thanks much
been wanting to do that just didnt know how lol ... good video
Happy to help! Good luck testing!

Great points, very valid input! It's on the list of upgrades! I appreciate your feedback, thanks for watching!
You can always try 305 drag radials with about 20 psi in tires shouldn't be a issue anymore. Long as temperature above 60 degrees anyway lol
@@BitcoinTo150K not a viable option as they aren't street legal and if you get caught driving in the rain, it can get sketchy.

Does it really only take 2hrs? My local shop who works on Mk5s told me he needs it overnight.
What phone mount are you using?
Do you know how i would be able to do this with a laptop instead of a phone?
What do you think of that new Nissan Z that Grey color they just came out with looks really nice

Mine seems to fit pretty well. It is a better fit than the Rexpeed one was.
I am looking at getting a JB4 in the near future for my 22 supra. Have you ran into any problems with yours since you installed it?
No problems at all.

Right! I was on some pretty bad tires to be honest!
