Try ERWIN - not too expensive, and you might be able to download a pdf from the site that covers that task for your specific VW model; all the models vary! I replaced my electromechanical actuator on my 2009 Passat CC driver's door perfectly, but it was a real pain! I wish I'd heard about ERWIN earlier!

I have to finish this job now on my 2009 VW Passat CC 2.0TDI, but I can't seem to find the two seals you highlight on their own for purchase - the whole assembly (bottle and pump with seals) is ridiculously expensive here in Australia. Do you know the part number for the two seals and where I can purchase them on their own? The pump works fine and the bottle is intact and in perfect condition.

Is a 2018 A6 prestige 3.0 a nice upgrade from a 2012 q5? I’m tired of putting a quart of oil in it a week 😂
The 3.0 supercharged is a good engine, still can have chain stretch and oil consumption but takes a lot longer and is a lot more rare
