VW MK6 washer fluid leak Fix

So if you saw the last Reel the washer fluid tank on the MK6 was leaking and we traced it to the level sensor grommet. The grommet seemed soft and squishy as tho it had reacted to something in the washer fluid, so it was swollen and no longer was sealing to the level sensor/tank.
It really needs a new grommet, but I don't have one, nor do I want to wait to order a new one. That would mean either down time with the car, or dealing with the leak and reinstalling the bumper then doing this all again when the new part comes in.
We're gonna try sealing it up with some RTV (silicone), first I wiped everything down with some isopropyl, then applied a liberal amount of the RTV to the grommet and to the sensor.
Installed the grommet, then the sensor, plugged it in, reinstalled the bumper and left it set up for a day before filling up the washer fluid tank.
BOOM, TicketyBoo, so far so good.
