Finally Hot Toys have nailed the likeness of Chris Evens as Hot Toys have always struggled in getting his likeness right. I have noticed they have given him an expression on the unmasked head sculpt which is pretty subtle but nevertheless it's still an expression which beats the dead pan faces that Hot Toys seem to do a lot off, if you look at his expression, you will see he's slightly frowning and Chris Evens does that a lot in the Marvel movies. I will be getting this figure someday as there are some other older figures that I need in my collection. Good review.

There was a time I used to buy a few second hand Hot Toys figures at retail price on Ebay but sometimes I would get one below retail price but nowadays collectors have gotten greedy on Ebay and selling second hand figures for €100 more and sometimes €400 more which is ridiculous as these figures are mass produced.
@@Punisher6654 I got you but you have a chance right now paying for retail. I'm guilty of paying over retail prices for older Hot Toys figures as well on figures I'm pretty sure they will not make re-issue.

It's a shame they haven't made a magnetic shield since the Age of Ultron version. It just sits way too low on the back with the hook attachment. Like I'm sure it couldn't be that much trouble to hide a magnet under the shield strap. Aside from that and some minor issues, this figure looks amazing. Definitely the best looking Captain America they've made and I was worried that it wouldn't be when I saw that prototype photos and all the displayed ones at conventions. Can't wait to receive mine.
Probably they have reason why the chose straps , ah also it’s in the movie it is a strap right.. and even the diecast probably more expensive material..

Always making videos the day the figures come out, punctuality and professionalism are appreciated This is going to be my first Captain America and that's because I wanted the last movie appearance. Overall excellent, the sculpting, the different mouths, Steve Rogers face ... brilliant work from Hot Toys. They have paid attention to detail especially, rare that the shield is still plastic and the base of the figure is not a battle dioramas Quite happy .. such is the case if a battle damage comes out I would buy it 😅
Thats a great review pal, I just received my figure last week, wanted to confirm I couldn't help but notice after a while that the unmasked head sculpt has a small glossy area on it's left eyebrow if I give it direct light from that angle, do you have it as well or it might be a production error, thanks.
The big problem with swapping out the different mouth / face part is that the eyes/expression doesn't change. The eyes are neutral looking and really only work with the neutral mouth look. Eyes and brows also change with a person's mouth expression. Try looking angry but not move your brows. LOL. So when you snap on his angry mouth part, but his eyes & brows remain neutral, it looks kinda goofy... almost funny. LOL. I would stick with the plain neutral mouth expression piece for display

I figured they would've announced it by now if they were planning to make a battle damaged Cap considering they announced the battle damaged Iron Man and Thanos months ago. I wouldn't wait for it, for me I don't really like battle damaged versions anyways because I prefer to display something more universal, but even without that being the case, it's a slim chance they'll even make one.

The fabric is also good but i think the reason the used this material is to avoid loose figure? Because once the joint become loose and they’re using fabric it is hard to stand? While this newly design makes the figure stil intact even if become loose joint ? Make sense? 😁🙌🏼🍻

Try heating the hand , pressing the thumb in and letting it cool or dip in cold water. It should hold then, have a better grip on the shield! 😃
