I had this paused on the unhelmeted HS and my mom walked in an said "is that chris evans?" that's how you know they did this portrait justice.
Just had to pause the video 13mins I’m and tell you how great your reviews are. Compared to other videos I’ve watched the image quality is just exceptional and that adds so much. You actually do the figures justice, picking up details I hadn’t even seen until now. Also love how free-flowing your presentation is, and not scripted or cliche. Awesome review! 💪🏽 My favorite MCU super hero and boy did they knock it out of the park! That portrait looks amazing and overall figure proportions are spot on. So glad I didn’t try to get that D23 one for all that money and waited for this. After seeing this video, I might need more than one to display with portrait and helmeted. I’m so excited to get mine that I preordered. I’ll probably watch this a few more times as I’m hyped now. Thank you as always for the great reviews!! 👍🏽🇺🇸

This is the one that got me into hot toys and 1/6 in general. I put it on preorder about a year ago when it 1st came up and I still don't have it yet. I've got about a dozen other figures since though and I am eagerly waiting on this one, which is kind of my 'OG' hot toys figure. I have about 8 marvel, Qui-Gon (with Ahsoka on preorder), and Alita, plus two non-hot toys (threezero Rambo and Asmus Crown Gandalf- Rambo is rock solid, but that Gandalf is a SICK figure by the way, dead on balls accurate). Oh also DoFP Wolverine, needed him to go in 'my' MCU!

Do the metal buckles on his harness have any wiggle room on yours? Mine dont seem to be glued down, just simply plugged in

Ryan, possible talking point for 1/6 scale news if you’re not already aware:
Sideshow sent out emails in regards to early shipping for Mk85 Iron man a few weeks ago. I though for sure I’d be getting one of the second or third batch figures with the mk50 head sculpt, and was kind of bummed out. The figure arrived with the original mk85 head sculpt. Possibly people backing out of pre orders? Hot toys trying to get rid of them as soon as they can?
I'm finally ready to add Cap to my collection... This is the figure for me.

I didn't think I'd be getting a Captain America anytime soon, but this review and my favorite scene in Endgame is making me ready to jump on it and purchase it. I've been had a Thor and Captain America figure, Iron Man is on the way, and with SS getting their stock soon, I am ready!

I collect SH Figurearts, Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech, Mezco's, Mafex, a couple Pops but no Hot Toys because of pricing and simply no space. But I couldn't help it. Everyone be getting their sick ass Hot Toy figures and it's in when around September 2019 I made up my mind I was going to buy one. Just one Hot Toy so that I least finally reached the day there is a Hot Toy among my collection. But since it's only going to be one, I had to make it count. It had to be good. A character I love to death, a character I personally feel embodies me, and this character basically has to carry my collection. Be the big among the room. The representative of my awesome collection. It's when I realized that figure was going to be the goddamn Star Spangled Man with a Plan and choosing his latest look and honestly I've been hyped since I made the purchase. It feels like its been forever waiting for this thing but seeing you and many other RUclipsrs uploading your Hot Toy Avengers Endgame Captain America figure reviews this is finally a sign we regular folk are next in line to get them! 😭😄I'm happy what character I chose for my first and most likely only Hot Toy and your review shows me the figure lives up to the hype. This truly is THE Captain America figure. Thank you for the well analysis detailed figure review. ❤
That’s awesome man, I ordered mine yesterday. Been waiting years for Cap, almost pulled the trigger on the Civil War one, but held my breath for something better. This is certainly the one to get.

If I decide to get this Cap, it would be my first Hot Toys with similar outfit/material. Should I be concerned about its durability? Or are there any caveats regarding the plastic starting to break at some point?. I'm definitely one of those guys who play around by posing the figures a lot. 😄

Great review, but yours seems to have a defect. The collar/shoulder material where it’s fixed to the scales are way off. They should be symmetrical.

I have ways wanted to own a cap.And now I think its time to get this as to me he is the definitive cap.
This is the one to get.
I was already hyped that it was finally coming, I am going to grab 2 of these guys, just going to wait for sideshow to release though, the second batch prices are still higher than sideshow after tax. Can't wait to see how the unmasked head with my age of ultron one. Definitely loving this figure and am glad the wait is finally over (well for some that are getting the first batch)

That's not a "hairline" its a mold line. The D23 Cap sucked ass; I was worried. So glad they used the delay time to fix it. The best Evan's Cap thus far.

Had they gone with the prototype body for the Endgame figure, it would be closer to 100% screen accurate. But Endgame has the a sculpt that is basically 100. Pretty fn great. That's the Cap I would buy.

I do disagree re. IW sculpt though. Looking at the two side by side, it's mainly down to the paint for hair and eyebrows being too dark on IW. EG looks like the same sculpt but clean-shaven and with a haircut.
D23 was a joke..at least compared to this
