"Grub is better then SystemD"
I got memed by the green screen
I can see why.
Could we get an update on the Volla Phone?
Someone know how can I find the volla phone launcher apk?
It looks like the green screen is trying to thanos snap you, but it constantly fails
I'm actually looking at buying one, hopefully they ship to New Zealand.
Shipping should not be the problem. I think they offered an international version.
Edit:
From what I could find GSM technology is supported, so it should also work with Australian network.
Here on Indiegogo is something called a world pack:

@@xijinpingpong4426 oh good
The b-roll on this video is great, good job
Good review - cool bit of additional info also 👍
Cool video, I haven't seen a lot of people with an actual Volla phone. Hope you have fun experimenting with it.
you should try repositioning your lights
Good video. Interested to see which distro you eventually keep on your Volla for the majority of the time. Once all the others mature a bit.
I want to buy but i'll wait for second video
Looks nice.
4:08 it would be nice if it would have more distros like plasma mobile
sadly is that plasma mobile has ended Halium support
@@idcrafter-cgi you can have plasma mobile on Halium distros still, it's available on Neon, which is Ubuntu based (supports Halium)
@@justjadethings9630 but isn't it the older one i tried kde neon on the pinephone and it seems like a very old version
@@idcrafter-cgi Pine64 recommends Manjaro KDE
You look like to belong to the force in that video but thank you very much for that video.
2:49 too bad that this launcher aren't on f-droid, it look so great
Grub is better then SystemD
Grub is not a substitute for SystemD - they often exist side by side. Rather something like Upstart is.
@@totalsonic5619 grub is better then systemd boot
@@totalsonic5619 read the description
@@PizzaLovingNerd - ok, now I see what they are saying. Anyway - Ubuntu Touch is still using Upstart as far as I know.
@@totalsonic5619 Its a joke, its on all my videos
Here's something to investigate and verify about the the Volla phone and Ubuntu Touch. Do they support VoLTE? As you may be aware, the carriers in the US and Europe are soon going to force a transition to VoLTE so they can shutdown their 3G networks. This pretty much reduces a non-compliant phone to a paper weight, unless you're willing to live with VOIP over wifi and your ISP connection. Does the pinephone with any of the mobile Linux distros support VoLTE - can the hardware even support it.
Quite a few PinePhone distros support VoLTE as well as Volla OS. However Ubuntu Touch specifically doesn't support it on either the PinePhone or VollaPhone. Luckily this is a software issue and could be fixed anytime.
Grub is better then SystemD, also great review
In your review, can you go over your experience with using it for calling and texting over network? The forums I'm in about the Volla Phone have all said it is basically hit or miss whether it actually works or not.
I'm in America, the phone can't use American bands, only European bands
Too bad they ruined the display by cutting out the notch and rounding the corners.
is the camera in vollaphone 22 good?
Its the stock android ROM degoogled?
ok.
Don’t buy this phone if you live in USA. I have checked compatibility with over 20 US carriers and not one supports the phone. Dr Wurzer and his team have continuously wasted my time. I have answered all of their questions and provided proof that the phone isn’t compatible with US networks they refuse to give me a refund. This has been a horrible experience.
