Mein Samsung S6 war da um einiges besser, Ich hatte keine Lust mehr auf die ganzen Apps die vorinstalliert waren und mein Handy zugemüllt haben .Teilweise wurden Apps installiert von denen ich gar nichts wußte. Das ist Gott sei Dank vorbei mit dem Volla Phone. Ich bin endlich wieder der Herr über mein Handy. Ich Danke euch und wünsche euch weiterhin viel Erfolg

One of the small details that I felt like would have been nice to have: it would have been nice if we could transfer files between the real phone and the Waydroid system. I used to move them manually in command line and running commands to set the right permissions, which takes some time. Eventually, I wrote a shell script which automatically "synchronize" some folders, so that I can easily transfer files between Waydroid and my phone and vice versa.

Ich verfolge Volla schon länger und finde die Smartphones nicht schlecht vor allem der herausnehmbare Akku und die Multiboot Funktion. Leider kann ich mit dem VollaOS nicht viel anfangen und fände es schöner wenn es auch noch andere Custom ROMs geben würde wie GrapheneOS, CalyxOS oder /e/OS. Ubuntu Touch, Sailfish OS.. sind zwar auch nicht schlecht aber für den täglichen Gebrauch etwas ungeeignet. Hatte noch ein älteres Blackberry Q10, hab mich jetzt aber doch für ein Fairphone 4 mit /e/OS entschieden. Bin aber gespannt auf die nächsten Smartphones von Volla

The number of operating systems you can install depends on the size of the external storage. We will start soon a public funded research project to run more than one operating system in parallel. There is still no Volla Phone model that works without Halium. Halium is a hardware abstraction that makes it possible to adapt Ubuntu Touch and other Linux operating systems to our hardware very efficiently. is Vollaphone 22 the same version as reviewed by users in 2019 or have there been newer/improved models since?
The Volla Phone 22 is a new model with new specs, introduces in spring this year and first shipped in July. The 2nd generation of the Volla Phone has a more powerful processor with MediaTek HyperEngine Technology, a 48 MP camera like the much more expensive iPhone 14 Pro and 128 GB internal storage, extendable to further 0,5 TB external storage. Hello, You can choose between all the operating systems you have installed at boot time to run one operating system. It's like BootCamp on a MacBook. The number of operating systems you can install depends on the size of the external storage. We will start soon a public funded research project to run more than one operating system in parallel. This is quite challenging. For Ubuntu Touch there will be probably Waydroid available for consumers to run Android in a container. Enjoy the day. Your Volla team.
@@HelloVolla The reason I'd want dual booting is that I can have the freedom of Linux but still be able to use my Banking software under AOSP. I don't think Waydroid would play well with the banking software so this sounds amazing. Is there any known non-Hallium/non-Ser distribution for Volla Phones? Doesn't need to be first party.
@@mrveink It is a good idea to use Volla OS for certain applications like for banking apps and Ubuntu Touch for everyday use. Probably Sailfish OS and Manjaro will also be available. There is still no Volla Phone model that works without Halium. Halium is a hardware abstraction that makes it possible to adapt Ubuntu Touch and other Linux operating systems to our hardware very efficiently. Hallo. Gibt es ein Forum wo man sich speziell informieren und austauschen kann? Gibt es z.B. eine Art Sandboxmodus wie bei GrapheneOS? Dort würde ich gerne in eine Sandbox Playstore installieren wollen mit Apps die ich gezwungen bin zu installieren? (Whatsapp, navi). Wie bei einem Arbeitsprofil (durch z.B. ein MDM System).

Hardware repairs like a display replacement are also possible via our partner phone-service.de. In France, Austria and Switzerland we have further partners. @@MrSeatbelt Yes, the Volla Phone 22 uses a battery that can be easily replaced by the user without tools. We have also included a notification LED in response to user demand. We will gladly take up your suggestion to add switches for further planning. Since we have the software completely under control and also published, we can ensure that there is no backdoor. If individual radio networks are switched off or the access rights for the microphone are not granted, then there is no access to the radio network or the microphone. The same applies to the camera or other security settings.
