I think the sketch of Mr Hooper is supposed to be a reference to the episode where Big Bird learns that Mr Hooper died. I've never seen Sesame Street, but that scene hits pretty close to home for me. I love how they included the sketch in the set, and I think it's a great tribute to Will Lee.
Seeing all these new molds and a set like this makes me really wish that Lego makes The Muppets Lego set. I really like to have official lego Kermit The Frog minifigure in my collection...

As someone who used to watch Sesame Street as a child, this set is just awesome looking. I think the 18+ thing is probably because of the fact that the show has older fans, Not just children and that’s dedication right there!

I've never seen Seseame Street, but I've seen Elmo's World back in my childhood and I just want to say that the Lego design is impressive with an old school background.
The "clock" on the wall is a nod to the"pinball" sequence from the show. Also they aren't meant to be doves but in fact pigeons (something Bert really likes).
I LOVE THIS SET! It was a great idea. Even though the mini figures head pieces and body look off. It shows we can make more sets like this and make new unique head pieces. Also so many colors
i'm surprised there are references to classic sesame street sketches: on the board on the wall of elmo's room is teeny super guy (a character from the mid 80s and the clock in ernie and bert's apartment is from the pinball number count a sketch from the 70s. there's a reference to the twiddlebugs in the windowsill near E & B apartment
That. Is. Adorable. 🤩 I'm over 40 at this point, and I WANT this. This would look gorgeous in any Lego City build, just perfect alongside the modular Creator sets. The figures look great, and really capture the iconic Henson look in Lego. Glad this drops next month - now my wife won't have to stress about what I want for the holidays.

Sets are ranked prices cause of there size and size of pieces so it probably has some pretty big pieces
