Lastly thank you for all the compromise even though the majority of black people are still bleeding, almost all your efforts guys they went to waist. Thank Dr Mpofu 🙏 please bring Thabo Mbeki.
It was great watching and listening to former president Kgalema Motlanthe. Thanks Sizwe for asking the right questions and making follow ups to enable us to understand. I have never understood why if the ANC and by extension the MKP (because they have been there all these years) knew exactly what the challenges of the masses are and winning overwhelming majority in elections could not effect the necessary changes to the status quo. If you are to interview all former presidents and leaders (NEC, Premiers, mayors, and counselors) of the ANC they will all precisely pinpoint the challenges, their causes and possible solutions which they never attempted to implement. It will not be fair though to blame Motlanthe for that because he was at the helm for 6 months but on other positions. I feel that the ANC and extension MKP are not honest with the masses about their inability to bring about the much needed changes everyone was hoping for as promised. It is not an individual's failure but organization. If the ANC is governing through consensus (majority views of the NEC) and collective of the top 6, having had all the numbers in parliament to repeal laws and effect necessary changes to benefit the majority, then it is proper to conclude that for 30 years the ANC never had the political will to overhaul the regressive systems including their own BEE which could have been an effective policy to advance rural economic development by empowering communities instead of the few politically connected individuals who in most cases were not from the local communities affected. I have one request, Sizwe, next time when you interview former leaders of the ANC and current leaders of the MKP (who were with the ANC for the past 30 years and more), please ask them two simple questions: 1) What do they identify as contributing factors to their inability to change the status quo for 30 years in basic education, land acquisition by the black majority, and economic emancipation. 2) What were their efforts in addressing these issues during their tenure (as leaders, NEC members, premiers, mayors, counselors and government leaders). I have deliberately left out the EFF because they were not directly responsible for policy determination and implementation of the ANC as youth leaders of the ANC. It is time to hold politicians accountable, cutting grass around them and not allowing them to make excuses of blaming individuals for their failures. MKP is an extension of the ANC and must also be held accountable for their failures during the past 30 years. The time for politicking must end so as to give space to serious solutions to South Africa's pressing problems and their implementation.

In the 1970s and early 1980s when Apartheid South Africa forced to allow Black people to form Trade Unions. This threatened Rand Lords who owned the mines and metal heavy industry. So, they developed a trick they still use today. They identity pliant persons, sponsor them to rise to position of leadership and lead the Trade Unions for the Mining House. Almost all Secretary Generals of Transvaal trade unions were agents of White Capital. They became spies within the NEC of the ANC. They became Media favourites. Thank you Baba Motlante, how i wish that you and those with reputation like yours can assist this organization that has so failed us. We will always remember you for the reputation that is beyond reproach.
I have one request, Sizwe, next time when you interview former leaders of the ANC and current leaders of the MKP (who were with the ANC for the past 30 years and more), please ask them two simple questions:
1) What do they identify as contributing factors to their inability to change the status quo for 30 years in basic education, land acquisition by the black majority, and economic emancipation.
Well said. I like your perspective, more especially the second question about what were their efforts in addressing the injustices of the past.
Ayeye!
Keep blessing us SMWX!

I just realised that I hold a negative perspective about Zuma.
I will read more about him. Thank you again.
He is recovering from his own bitterness against President Zuma.

This is the type of leader South Africa needs. This a rare breed probably produced once in 100 years. He is another one to go to the list of people who can salvage South Africa from the mess left behind by kleptomaniacs.(RDuma)
Impressive to get information undiluted and from the person who lived it.
Le wena Sizwe... every guest is "the best guest"🤣🤣🤣 --- ok, ke a kweshisha!
I also noticed that 😅

Given the chance Mr Motlanthe can run the country very well.
Failed dismal to be elected against Zuma 😂😂😂.
Lol😂😂how can a man who is close to the establishment run the country well? He'll run it well for the minority
hhayi Tnash...anyway it is your opinion.
@@TnashBigbolla This one must tell us how his wife become a millionaire. Secondly he's unethical. His wife was his PA married to another person. He abused his position a fell in love with a married women and encouraged divorce. He took someone's wife. What a shame. Deputy President broke some marriage
He didn't break the marriage, if a marriage allows a stranger into its sanctuary then it's already broken.
Guys you're doing great job. With the guests 🙏✅.... Personally I need Gogo to close the year and try make sense of where to. Great work guys 👌😊
Wow.. just remind of the 'people of the south ' with Dali Tambo.. history is being narrated here...❤

The result is that Black South Africans have.no genuine leaders. Most of our "leaders" are there to further their own personal interest and that of their masters.
This is the reason we have the Constitution we have. It is the reason for the land-lessness, Roman-Dutch law, weak State, strong private sector, hostile media etc
Well said!!!
@ohlangeni Well said!!
It seems we always have had traitors from the times of Christ to now, we have an abundance of these self hating people who sell their own for 30 pieces of silver without any remorse. Unfortunately they are still plenty of them operating today.
Don't forget to add that our people keep on voting for them, so I don't blame them cause there's a chance that if they didn't sell out the people wouldn't vote for them
Agreed. Too many Judas Escariot iziMpimpi, amaQoboka, amaKhamandela

Sizwe you "wow wow" phrases in this interview gave a hint that your fascination with the politics and personas might lead you to into active politics
Politics is not for entertainment. It would harm Sizwe‘s credibility at this point in his career if he was to join party politics
😥, this is so emotional
You seemed a bit star struck in this one and didn't ask the probing questions we need answers to. All the same well done on getting a former president on the show. Looking forward to seeing more high profile interviews.
This is Sizwe's style of interviewing, he let's guests control their own narrative. Are you knew here?
@@RayOfLetsatsi Nope not new. My comments remain valid, from my perspective.
I like Sizwe's style of interviewing, he lets the guest tell their story without being combative like what we see in the captured main stream media that is biased.
They can talk nice good English..by the man with poor English was the best president ever #JZ.
