I watched both doctors presentations. When my massive leg weight gain came on was during pregnancy. He said Lipedema patients suffering from obesity as well are often not physically active. I was on active duty military doing physical workouts 5 days a week for an hour a day. I was extremely sick to start so could not hold food down. I was given a new pre natal vitamin when they could not figure out how to keep food down. Once I started keeping the food down , I experienced extremely weight gain and swelling. My system has never been the same and I now struggle with weight. I never stopped working out until the pain got to the point when I can barely walk. I am considered a healthy person lab wise with the exception of Obesity. My body has negative reaction to anti depressants which contribute to pain. Most doctors say to me I need to change my life style. My sickness is the only thing that has slowed me down. Both have different opinions. Vasculera helped the pain, but the VA won't supply. Sero vital help relieved the pain, but it too is a supplement so won't be prescribed and it effected my cortisol and HCG levels so I had stop. Both these I still had headaches and stomach pain and tenderness. I started on Ozempic and almost all of the systems went away. Now there is a shortage and I can't get. I have had years of stress and anxiety, depression. There were no weight issues when this started. Could it be thT the A ti depressants or things like Anthrax vaccine(which has. Even found to cause lymphatic. Issues in Vets who recieved) could have triggered reactions to a dormant lipedema issue. I am a VA patient so I don't have access to the expertise.

I have started looking into this as I think I have lipedema as well as my mother. There are a range of other health issues in my family that I’ve been researching over the years and I think there is a link between v a c c i n e s and probably other drugs like antidepressants. My mother was on ADs for 40 years and gained most weight over that time. I was on them for 10 and also gained 15 kg over that time. I cannot tolerate them now either. And genetic conditions like MTHFR which results in an inability to metabolise folic acid (which is commonly used in the place of folate or folinic acid in multi B and prenatal vitamins). It also is now added to most non-organic flours and products
It blocks the folate receptors so you cannot absorb natural folate (from green leafy salads & vegetables) and becomes a toxin. Lipedema also seems to be linked to connective tissue disorders like Ehlers Danlos Syndrome where there are abnormalities in collagen and elastin so they are not as firm or strong. I suspect both these genetic conditions run in my family. MTHFR seems to result in the body having difficulty removing toxins and a toxic build up of homocysteine. I am also wondering about other drugs that could affect the lymphatic system. I am just starting to research but from what I’m seeing, the best approach is to adopt a ketogenic low carb diet, removing sources of folic acid. Some people seem to do best on carnivore but it seems to depend on the individual. Dairy or milk in particular seems to be a problem. Supplementing with things that lower your glucose and insulin level like Berberine probably will help. In essence eat as though you are pre-diabetic and trying to avoid type 2 diabetes. It could also be seen as similar to the metabolic approach to avoiding cancer. Which according to some is caused by damaged mitochondria being starved of oxygen and converting to existing on glucose and glycogen. Going on a keto low carb diet and increasing oxygen to your cells via various ways may help them function better. Fasting for 2-3 days to get into ketosis might help. I’m not a doctor just someone trying to solve my own health issues. Also avoid all further v a c c i n e s as they create inflammation and contain toxins that our bodies cannot deal with.
