I watched both doctors presentations. When my massive leg weight gain came on was during pregnancy. He said Lipedema patients suffering from obesity as well are often not physically active. I was on active duty military doing physical workouts 5 days a week for an hour a day. I was extremely sick to start so could not hold food down. I was given a new pre natal vitamin when they could not figure out how to keep food down. Once I started keeping the food down , I experienced extremely weight gain and swelling. My system has never been the same and I now struggle with weight. I never stopped working out until the pain got to the point when I can barely walk. I am considered a healthy person lab wise with the exception of Obesity. My body has negative reaction to anti depressants which contribute to pain. Most doctors say to me I need to change my life style. My sickness is the only thing that has slowed me down. Both have different opinions. Vasculera helped the pain, but the VA won't supply. Sero vital help relieved the pain, but it too is a supplement so won't be prescribed and it effected my cortisol and HCG levels so I had stop. Both these I still had headaches and stomach pain and tenderness. I started on Ozempic and almost all of the systems went away. Now there is a shortage and I can't get. I have had years of stress and anxiety, depression. There were no weight issues when this started. Could it be thT the A ti depressants or things like Anthrax vaccine(which has. Even found to cause lymphatic. Issues in Vets who recieved) could have triggered reactions to a dormant lipedema issue. I am a VA patient so I don't have access to the expertise.
