Great lure! I caught my 2nd largest striped bass on a bucktail and believe I lost what would have been my largest several years earlier. Very versatile and easy to unhook the fish since it's only a single.

I've been using bucktail jigs since the early 70's. Always had an uncle Josh pork rind on them. Best lure ever still. I was a fan of the barracuda brand and Andrus makes one very similar. I have 4 originals left. 2 2oz and 2 4 oz. almost afraid to use them! Literally just loaded up today on a batch of andrus and got off the water an hour ago. sea bass, stripers, and blues all on those. I think most new lures lure fishermen more than fish. i go all white whenever i can. I use them jigging, surf cast, and cape cod canal. Don't need much else when you know how to use them. So glad the pork rind is coming back !

Ive never had much success with a bucktail ! But the expiration here i will give it a try .

That's awesome going fishing tonight off a marina in buzzards bay any tip s lot of flounder around I've heard reports of blue runner now and stripers near there but I haven't had a ton of luck

Lol didn't know the grammar police would be here... Low and slow with the retrieve... try SP minnows bucktails or small soft plastics plenty of fish around and a massive amount of small juvenile bait in the harbors and under dock lights...
