Of all the videos out there on this exact topic I found your video easy to understand and informative without music blaring over you talking and I was starting to freak out that I messed something up, my wife probably gonna think I bought a whole new truck when the bank statement hits and I atleast need this multi thousand dollar 1/24 scale rig to move! Just ordered one for my Kyosho mini z Jeep conversion. The steering servo on the Kyosho is hopeless so ive found a replacement which forces me to change all the electric. If I have to change the whole lot I might as well buy this quality ESC

How do you turn off the power in the actual vehicle now, while the furitek is connected, as turning off the vehicle does not fully turn it off. The light remains on, when I turn off the power from the vehicle.
@@MiguelCortezI head there was something you only could upgrade regarding the c10 and deadbolt only .. what upgrades is limited to those two only ? I’m new to hobby
If it's for the gladiator, I wouldn't count on it if I were you. Just trying to save you a huge headache if you have the gladiator model. I'm on my 2nd furitek iguana pro now, first one had issues both my fault and otherwise and it's replacement will not connect to my scx24 motor, only servo. Original 2-in-1 works just fine. I've followed so many guides and forums, spent a long time and patience with it to no avail. I'm just highly disappointed. I may just go with another TX/RX setup later on, but its getting expensive already 😬
@@dakotasander5745 Then it's probably not the gladiator. Glad it worked for you, though. Just wish the companies would make note of their compatibility and just keep the simple esc/rx instead of just one model having a completely different design than the rest.
@@MiguelCortez I must’ve burnt out the mofo Buzzsaw 50 motor with the stock ESC. I thought it was just the esc that I fried. Because the furitek works fine with the stock motor installed.
Question: does the FOC function with the brushed motor? Like will it have the torque at low crawl? I'm on the fence about getting the lizard only versus the whole brushless kit
from the website "Designed with FOC (Field-oriented control) technology, it provides insane slow speed with powerful stable torque, low noise, high efficiency, and has a high-speed dynamic response." i haven't had any issues and i have two of their systems
So if the Lizard is an ESC, why keep the old stock ESC in there? Can one not just run the Lizard as a replacement for the stock ESC and save the space and weight? Thanks! I just can't get my head around that being a new guy. :)

Watching your series and it's much appreciated as a newb! So if one got really into this, is there a stand alone receiver that could be installed to save weight and space? @@MiguelCortez battery straight into the stock receiver works I get power. But when I plug it into the lizard I get nothing. I have the v1 esc. And I have it plugged into the ch2 slot but still no power.

I just unplug the battery wish there was a better way lol

Won’t work on the newer Axial’s like the Gladiator cause there isn’t a channel 2 you’d have to get a new receiver as well. Awesome vid.

At first only my servo worked. Then back updated to 2.3 and it worked for a minute and now no more throttle response. Any ideas?
🤔🤔🤔 is everything plugged in right ? Did you check for updates? Calibrate throttle?

@@MiguelCortez spoke too soon. Very weak/slow froward throttle but normal reverse power. Maybe I need a new factory esc.

You need something to connect to your transmitter (remote)

Did you plug everything in right? Take it to your local hobby shop

Mine flashes blue even after throttle calibration. And does nothing...

@@MiguelCortez I did that I finally found the flashing blue light means reciever connection is bad. So I'll be contacting furitek for a warranty
