I'm so thankful for your channel and others like it. I was able to buy my wife a JL about a year ago and she loves working on it and taking trail riding. It was an expensive investment but it worked. She now see the value in us having a big shop,lift,and at least 3 projects that will never be finished. I truly appreciate it

Great video! Glad to see regular uploads after D.E.D got ded. I did have a hard time hearing people's speech throughout , some gunk in the camera's mic maybe? A lav mic might help with in-car noisy audio better.

Man I’d rather get beat with a car antenna then do drywall. I’m glad to know my shop isn’t the only shop that gets completely out of hand. It can get nuts if you don’t stay on it. Especially because I like to drag home axles and transfer cases also.

For doing anything to hardcore he should send those Spartans back and get a Grizzly front and spool real. The pins in a spartan won't hold up or the single pin carrier.

I only said spool since je wants to do comp and price is about $400 less after the way more expensive Grizzly over the Spartans.haha
Pretty good video. Empty nester myself. Redoing my sons old bedroom. It never ends if you're a homeowner. And even more if you're an off-roader or car enthusiasts..lol. just not enough time.

You may look at the GM LV1/LV3 4.3 V6. It's lighter, smaller and makes good power. It's also less likely to beat up the Dana 44.

You will probably build your own exhaust if you do the LS Swap on the Jeep - however, Hooker Blackheart makes really sweet custom fit headers and exhaust system specifically for the Jeep LS swap.(expensive) Fits like a glove and sounds great. BTY - I have a bell housing for that AX15 that bolts right up to the LS. (as well as clutch and pressure plate) Yours free, for the shipping cost. Its an advanced adapters kit.. I changed up for a 4l60e that I rebuilt.

@@thedirtheadshed I have a 1979 Bronco with spool front and rear with 456 gears and 37" tires . Truck has a 429 with c6-205 . I just can't keep stock shafts in it broken 3 sets . Anyone I've talked to made me feel like the only answer was RCV shafts but don't want to spend 2000 on those . I want to keep both the axles with the truck if possible (not wanting to Dana 60 swap it ) what are your thoughts?

Wet sponge. Just get the big chunks on round 1. Let it haze over then go around a second time

Feel bad. I’ve worked on a dozen rigs and still haven’t finished the bathroom.
Chunk the 8.8 and throw in a 10.25 sterling. Bolts right in. Then you don't have axles being used as inner bearing races. Silly design.

Its a 31 spline from a Ranger fx4 with a truetrac I had sitting beside the shed. It doesnt need to do much but replace a 28 spline with a bad pinion, but then I decided to freshen it up and paint it...
Honey Do's SUCK ! Especially grouting and tile work. Drywall hanging is ok but when it comes to tape , muddying and finishing, I'm as bad as I am with bodywork and painting. Lol now let's get back to the mechanics of the show ! 😝

Awesome, brother. The update was great. It was good to know where you are at with some projects. The Nissan is looking good. The wife and I got some good weather, so we got some video of her getting some progress done on the chevelle. Needed a break from the 62 impala, lol.

I was wondering, if this is some kind of shakedown of the vehicle before getting on the trail or you really just prefer not to use a truck and trailer. as always great videos, I look forward to every upload.

As long as you have locking hubs it’s not going to affect 2wd driving

Thanks for the update. Saw your IG post of a customer’s base model bronco. Out of curiosity is there any reason not to go with the base model if you are someone like yourself (and many viewers of your channel) that plan to modify down the road. For example, is the new base model lacking in any major areas which would warrant selecting a higher trim level from the start?
The Sasquatch package has some heavy duty drivetrain parts that would be beneficial down the road
