It’s gonna be cold! What other gear do I need to keep warm?
Welcome to my city. You’ll need hand warmer . I like a good quality scarf/ hat & ear covering instead huge hoods because you need your peripheral vision.
Mini shovel, extending ice scraper broom,and jump start kit.

Just get snow tires if you're traveling around, downtown is pretty good about clearing streets. Hopefully that coat is a down coat! Plus, you want the fur around the hood to come past your face to help block the wind. Check out the Northface outlet, prices way better than online. Brother you forgot your mittens, scarf, and hat (get it mix with wool) because winter will feel like it's trying to kill you out here lol. You're going to want a long coat, long johns, or snow pants also. Oh if you don't have a car starter, GET ONE! That will be your best friend in the winter. And welcome to Chicago.
A few more things, Sam's Club has a shovel that folds down to keep in the trunk. Depending on your car, a wheel lock. And a good jump starter.
Are you gonna be walking a lot of places? The wind in chi town can be brutal when it's cold. I like having a face cover of some kind. The gear you got looks nice! Love the color of the jacket.
Can you make a video pro / con hired as nurse resident program or as actual regular nurse as a new grad.
