Thank you sm for this break down! Love it! Im also at the 3.0 exact and holding on to it for dear life lol I am about to graduate from nursing school and im soo excited about my nursing career and make it outstanding so i can be a great candidate one day for CRNA school!
Thanks for taking the time to make this helpful video Cordero. I'm sure time is a limited resource for you in CRNA school. I am currently taking my nursing prerequisites in order to apply for an ABSN program, so I am still in the beginning stages of my journey to CRNA school. Like you, my initial undergrad GPA was under a 3.0, but I am determined to work much harder this time around to achieve my goals. I wanted to ask for your perspective on what it takes to be successful in CRNA school, specifically when it comes to the didactic portion. Do you naturally need to be good at understanding hard science material? If for example chemistry and physics take longer for you to understand, can you still be successful through hard work?
Been looking forward to this! seriously appreciate you sharing this. thank you so much for all you do! i hope to start my application in two years since i'm currently a new SICU nurse.
Hello, thank you for all that your channel does and for being brave and telling your story! You not willing to back down and listen to other staff and counselors has definitely inspired many, including me! Just gained a subscriber and wish you well in your future! thanks again!! 💪
Years ago, I had a colonoscopy and my previous one, I had an anesthesiologist who is a Medical Doctor. My second colonoscopy was a black female a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. This is why I found out, you didn't have to have an anesthesiologist to administer medicine to put you to sleep during a medical procedure.
This is so inspiring. Wld you pls be able to tell the list of these school your applied to. Last year of my adn. I'm trying to set myself up for success.
Or, if someone receives their BSN from WGU while working in the ICU, can they pursue a master's program, such as an MSN, at a GPA-grading school to boost their CRNA application?
Hi, presently doing my BSN at an online university (WGU) with in person clinicals. They do a pass/fail system of grading instead of a gpa system of grading. So it’s assumed you have a 3.0gpa when you graduate from the school(WGU) Will this be a problem when I’m about to apply to CRNA school?
Hi!! do CRNA schools go by your program grading scale or by what you scored on the course? In my program a 93.8 is an A- a 92 is a B. I’m not sure how CRNA schools calculate Applicants GPAs
@acouplenurses Would you reccomend taking the CCRN test or the GRE test first? What books do you recommend to study for GRE? The school I am applying to requires GRE, but not the CCRN test. My overall GPA is 3.5 something. I won multiple scholarships, awards and was sent to represent my school in congress during my BSN program. I officially graduate my BSN in December with a ICU background of 1yr neuro ICU and 2 years trauma ICU. Do you think this would give me a good chance of being accepted?
Just wanted to let you know that your audio is coming through on one side of the headphones. Your added videos come in equally bilaterally tho. But your video is informative nonetheless.

Can a 5.0 cgpa scale be accepted
Is that all you have to offer? A GPA is only one factor that is looked at by the board.
