I have yet to proc the staggering that fc was able to do. That bs took half of the boss’ health! I always get the boss to the same level of health and then some bullshit happens im fumbling over the consumables and the lack of i-frames

he is not so hard actually. if you try to kill him as fast as you could with the summon. on half health the specter wont have that much hp lost. you can also try doing alot of heavy attacks to stagger him
I guess I'm going something wrong cause I fought this boss about 30 times, was barely doing damage with a +3 weapon, my specter was dying in under a minute, and just having no luck. Then I did the Throwing Cell thing with an electric grindstone on my blade and that did the trick. I guess that Electro Bonk is the key cause this took me forever.
For the big Tin Man: I tried to cheese him with plunge attacks. It didn't work out that well. You get hurt when you plunge and often don't even hit him. It's better to just fight him straight on. And yes, block, dodge, doge block. As he attacks, it leaves him open to get behind him and attack.
Even though this is old I'm gonna say it... Cowboy is the best in the business at playthrough/walkthrough/build.. all of the above information but bro you really take away from the experience when you summon help for boss fights. I get it, you gotta clear content but com'on man. The beauty of these games are the struggles and overcoming difficulties. You water down the product when there's a handicap for the big fights. Just play the game.. we're all here for it cowboy
I struggled HARD versus Watchman.. yet beat this boss on my 2nd try, solo. Basically i never parried & instead dodged/ran around him & then used charged r2s. Got him to 20% hp before his 2nd phase started.. then i just got far away, hid behind a pole from his range attack, & threw several cells to finish him safely.
When he says “in the house of Venini” it always makes me think of Matt Heafy screaming “in the court of the dragon” (probably go over a lot of heads but😂😂)

@@Blade4Life76 are u aware of the cool machanic in the game where once uv used all ur heals u can re- charge one by attacking ur enemies, so as long as u play well the game will give u a chance to finish the fight 😉 don't get hit for 3 minutes and ull enjoy this feature, for instance on the mad donkey concentrate on parrying him don't worry on doing damage focus on parrying him ull eventually break his weapon so with his weapon broken he almost has no range, keep 2 foot away from him he can't hit u so wind up those charges and go for staggers 🤣
You’ll get him to 1/4 of his health and then you’ll use a consumable but it will never be the one you wanted, so you take some hits. Then you’ll throw your throwing cell and it will miss him. You’ll end up dying and then have to spend another 30 minutes farming throwing cells because the vendors don’t restock. This is how you keep losing, not because the boss has some amazing ai or moved mechanics…
once the boss gets to his second phase get super aggressive and stay right up under his legs basically, he can’t shoot you when you’re right up on him he will just shoot right over your head. my specter died immediately and i still managed to kill him by staying right up on him the whole time.
Damn, impressive. It took me 7 tries to finally beat Kings Flame lol. My spectre was getting wiped out within seconds of starting the fight. Also the broken butler puppet wasn't in my game. Don't know where that came from.
Same here took me couple hours. Don’t know why it was so hard. My other two friends beat it easily but they were also strength builds using blunt weapons. I’m at dex with slash type.

@@TheVDaddyo I ended up just beating him after trying a bunch of times. Used some pots and throwable to make it a bit easier. The acid weapon buff is good for second phase. Do a load save if you can so you don’t waste material.
Wow…Cowboy is relying on help during boss battles these days, eh?! What’s even more crazy is that he hasn’t even attempted to challenge them alone. Seeing him try to blaze through the game as quickly as possible while trying to keep it in Easy mode took all of the fun out of this Let’s Play. This guy used to be a monster 🤦

My dex build used the puppet string and falcon eyes. Falcon eyes was O fuckin P by the time it’s fully upgraded with quick reload and dodge. Only issue is if they run up close before explosion it blinds u to incoming attacks and the original first puppet was so fast
Every time I watch Cowboy play Souls games, my boss fights are always more difficult, even with the same spec. I've come to realise that these Bosses probably know it's Cowboy playing and they show him way too much respect and are super lenient with him.

Insane how using Specters for boss fights in this game makes them incredibly easy. I'm doing a specter-free first run, but all my friends playing the game with specters are one shotting most bosses.
Cowboy i was playing elden ring and bloodbourne with your walktrhoughs. Deamons souls and now Lies of P i play on my own. It took me 3 hours to beat king flame. My spectar was dead in like 1 min of the fight. Dont know how your last so long???
i was about to defeat the boss first try with the help of specter so i died intenionally cause it was to ez with the specter. so now im trying to do it without specter and the boss always lives with 1 hp T_T but i will do it without the help of specter only
I found light rolling really helped. There are four breakpoints as far as I can tell. 1)light 2) normal 3)slightly heavy 4) heavy. Light roll is under 30%. The roll is a similar length (not the link roll, the default roll) but it happens much faster.
Took me 50+ times to beat Fuoco. His insta kill overheat attack was bs. Also the greatsword sucks. Switched to the police baton and beat him in 2 tries
Crazy how many people struggled with this boss. I regretted bringing the spectre because I beat the boss in like a minute and a half lmao. Dude was super easy.

@@aiRxShop I guess the lack of i-frames is probably to promote a perfect parry rather than just dodging. Perfecting my parry brought me a long way.
29 vitality and an advance build helped, Cowboy also let him commit to attack before punishing

I liked upgrading the P thing with gain legion for every kill you get. It restores 9 legion for every kill.

Romeo was actually easier for me, almost everything can be side stepped or dodged. His attack movements are just intimidating like Malenia.
