    Hey Kiddo. FYI, I found out by accident I can substitute one or two Tablespoons of organic "coconut butter" to my can of full fat coconut milk, in butter, cheese, and ice cream recipes, and I don't need cashews. It sets up in the refrig. This combo makes fantastic vegan butter. Take care.

      @@NutritionRefined Wow. Thank you. You are very kind. I am just an ugly old man who stutters and drools and sleeps till 10. Who is going to watch me? When I walk down the street, babies cry and dogs whimper. I take a shower, start to sing, and water turns cold. It is embarrassing, the people in the house next door think I am a soprano. Anyway it is fun to share with someone, really smart, on the same wavelength, with high standards, who I respect and appreciate, and who can understand and appreciate and use these ideas. If you want to use any of them in a video feel free to. You do not have to give me credit. Nine years ago, a doctor told me I had an incurable disease, and had three months to live. I read a bunch of $100 books I bought used on Amazon for $1.50. I figured it out, changed my diet, went high electrolyte, vegan and alkaline, mostly raw, but I do a lot of cooked things too, and I completely recovered, and it did not take long either. The thing is, as you know, high quality organic food tastes better. I am having so much fun inventing a new way of cooking, and it tastes so good, I am having a hard time feeling sorry for myself. I cook meals for friends and family and they go nuts over it. They want cooking lessons. They really do, And they are not interested at all in the theory behind it. They like how it tastes and how good it makes them feel. So it looks like I am going to write a book. If I do, I will send you a copy for review. Anyway, thanks for saying such a very nice thing. Coming from you it means a lot to me. You are so very good at what you do, and your recipes are right on target. God bless.

      @@varunsoni5278 Thank you so much. Your kind thoughts really encourage me. I have recently discovered several huge all new whole arena's of importance that nobody knows about and these new ways of cooking have helped to heal me of some horrible stuff. I am starting to feel sorry, even guilty, about not sharing them. Can I ask you a question? Is a web page good enough or does it have to be a RUclips channel? Are there other formats/outlets/ or channels that you would recommend? I will be starting a book pretty soon, and plan to do a web page using the name of the book.

      @@colinkelley6493 I'd personally say you can't replicate what you communicate through a video on a website. Also, people tend to watch and not read. Plus you'll need to learn some things about posting on a website, while YT is fairly simple to understand. The biggest drawback is you wouldn't be visible on Google because it's a game of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) there, but YT will let people subscribe to you and they'll get notifications whenever you upload something you like

    • @NutritionRefined
      @NutritionRefined  Год назад +1

      The reason full-fat coconut milk works so well here is that it's high in fat. If you use other plant-based milk, the ice cream will probably be icier. Is there a reason you want to substitute coconut milk? You don't need to use canned coconut milk. You can use fresh coconut cream/milk made from fresh coconuts (I have a video on this channel showing the process). If you're worried about the coconut flavor, you could try using homemade cashew cream/cashew milk, which is perhaps the creamiest alternative.

I wonder if there's a rich vegan ice-cream we can make that doesn't contain coconut or any nuts as my granddaughter who has dairy and coconut allergies, can't have this version obviously. So hard to find a commercial vegan ice-cream without coconut and I'd rather make my own without all the processed stuff.

I have never tried it a vanilla version, though. I can email you the recipe if you'd like. (Don't share your email here on RUclips. Cold but warm does not describe the flavor. 🙄Delicious is a great word to describe food. Sweet with a hint of maple not too sweet creamy smooth and yummy delightful satisfying idk gosh! Technical the first flavor u taste well most people taste the whole thing we can distinguish different nuance's but the main thing is does it taste good? Not well it's cold and warm and nutty with some maple. We c what's in the recipe, we can't however determine if it is scrumptious or yucky lol I have always enjoyed your video's and all of your recipes r so on point and look so elevated. I just wish the description of the flavor was a little more descriptive, we r not always wanting a comparison to the original item we r interested is it so delectable that our palettes will say yesssss! I hope I didn't offend anyone. Your husband seams like a sweet person and he is gracious enough to b your guinea pig lol so we appreciate him.
