    For keeping the full nutrient value of the cashews it is important to rather soak for 8 hours which will activate its full potential like sprouting fo seeds. Therefore inserting cashews into hot water to minimise time is not ideal and in my view a bit unfair if you knew how hard it is to crack the cashew seed out of its tough kernel!

    • @Ireneathanasiou
      @Ireneathanasiou  2 года назад +2

      Hey, Dawn! The vanilla powder is just organic vanilla bean. it is very expensive so you can leave it out and use vanilla extract instead. The syrup I'm using here is coconut nectar. Again, you can use agave nectar instead if you are unable to find coconut nectar. Coconut cream is expensive, you're right! Thai kitchen coconut cream works really well too.

      Hi Strida. The coconut cream is a very important part of this recipe. I've never tried this before but you could only use cashews (but you would have too use more). Maybe experiment and see how it goes? Pls let me know!!! 💕💕💕💕💕

      it's not as coconuty as you would expect but I think you can still taste it. If you're looking for plant based ice cream ideas, cashews alone can work great in ice cream!

      If you put a few cans of coconut milk in fridge over night next day only scrap out the solid harden cream portion. So it roughly is amounts she used in receipe.
