  • Recipe here: www.joyofbakin... Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make No Churn Vanilla Ice Cream. This recipe is for a No Churn Vanilla Ice Cream which means you don't need an ice cream machine. It is so easy to make as it is eggless and there is no cooking involved. Only three ingredients are needed; heavy whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract. All you do is beat these ingredients together until thick and creamy and then the mixture is frozen. The result is a wonderfully rich and creamy smooth, vanilla flavored ice cream. Perfect on its own, or serve with fresh fruit, fruit sauces, lemon curd, or with a slice of pie.

I added 2 TBS of light corn syrup for a little bit of 'chewiness'; also used my homemade Tahitian double vanilla extract. It made a fantastic cookies & cream ice cream.

I’ve always appreciated that you don’t waste food and scape out as much as you can. So many others on RUclips don’t! My mother grew up in the depression and it was ingrained on me from a young age that you don’t waste food! Will definitely try this. I’m guessing I can fold in chopped almonds and chocolate chips when fully whipped?

Yes you can fold in the extras once the ice cream is made.

This is exactly how i make ice cream too. My last batch was a vanilla base, like yours. I used 2 tsp of my homemade vanilla extract (made with 50% spiced rum and 50% vodka), and added 12 oz of pureed strawberries, ¼ cup of malted milk powder, and a tablespoon of E&J Grand Blue brandy. Best ice cream I've ever had!

I just watched an ice-cream-making video that adds 2 tablespoons of liquor (any liquor) (example: for vanilla ice cream add 2 T of bourbon in addition to vanilla extract) to the recipe which lowers the freezing temperature so the ice cream is creamier. Definitely going to try it.

I made it using cream with 30% butterfat content this time. It was perfect! Mine didn’t get whipped to stiff peaks despite the cream being semi frozen and with frozen cool packs under the bowl while whipping but still I went with it and froze it and omg it is sooooo delicious!
I don’t know why but all condensed milks in India are a bit grainy. Next time I’ll make condensed milk at home.
    This recipe is bomb!

This is the first year I've started doing this method, and it's so easy! Personally though, I think the ice cream tastes better after it's been sitting in the freezer for at least 24 hours. I did also buy two ice cream containers off Amazon, and they work very well. Before this, I was using my parent's ice cream maker and it works well, but the freezer insert takes up so much room in the freezer before using it.

Hi Stephanie. I made this ice cream just like that at first. It is good but hard. Then I made it with raisins and rum and I discovered that the Rum made it always soft and ready to eat without waiting and without letting all the ice cream melt. So I investigated a bit and now I use a little bit of vodka in all my ice creams because it doesn’t have any flavor, you can’t even tell it’s there but the result is the same as with rum, always soft and ready to serve just out of the freezer. Just an idea that you could try sometime (not for small children of course). I love your channel! Greetings from Chile.

I did this same thing a few years ago, but also added a stick of room temp cream cheese, and swirled in strawberry compote.
It was absolutely unreal... The best strawberry cheesecake ice cream I have ever had. I kept eating it around other people and whispering the word "decadent" in their ear, to creep them out.
Unfortunately, it was extremely expensive to make; like 3x as much as a tub of ice cream. Heavy whipping cream is ridiculous.

FYI, I saw on another channel the suggestion of adding 2 T alcohol such as bourbon to the mixture in order to keep ice crystals from forming (should I believe that logic? - LOL). Given I haven't any bourbon, I added 2 T of Vanilla flavored alcohol and I'm sure the end result will be awesome!!

Good morning Stephanie. Thank you for this delicious and easy recipe. We still have a lot of snow in Minnesota 😉 but no problem I like icecream any time of the year. Happy Easter to you and your family.
