Great show and insight into Carrot Top. Checking out KB’s brother’s podcast right now. Thank you 🙏
Had no idea Mike was blind..... The channel name makes sense now.....
Regarding the last clip, I recall reading somewhere that Carrot Top had a show a few days after Norm died, and he played that clip in his honor. That just backs up your point about him having perspective and a sense of humor about himself.
Carrot top on O&A with Bobo was classic
This thumbnail makes a whole lot more sense 😂
This was good!
I really didn't pay too much attention to Carrot Top when I was younger, saw some of his appearances on late night shows, but mostly he was on my radar in the same way you guys were saying, he is famous for being a hack/ bad. I really liked and "found" him when I saw "The Rules of Attraction" on DVD in 2004.
For some reason "Carrot Top/Scott Thompson" did a commentary track for that movie, that he was not in, had no affiliation with, and didn't even watch before he recorded. It was really funny, you should look into it, might be something else to talk about in a future Carrot Top episode.
I remember seeing a Gallagher special where he had an opener who was also a prop comic. He did a bit about the hole in toilet seat covers looking like a guys head.
On the special?
@@BlindMikeProject Took me a minute to find it. I watched it on tv randomly in the 90’s as a kid. It was on “Melon Crazy” and his name was Bill Kirchenbauer. I can’t find the toilet seat cover bit though. I don’t know if I’d call him a prop comic seeing a little of his act again, but I did find a clip where Gallagher dances on stage with him dressed as a watermelon.
A fascinating show
I think I could come up with a storied joke way before I could come up with prop comedy. So however you slice it carrot top is talented
Good way of saying it
Great episode boys! I have some sympathy for Carrot Top now. That Norm clip is THE BEST! Speaking of Norm clips. I don't know if there's enough material to do a full episode on Bob Uecker. He's 90 now and just began his 54th season calling Brewers games. If you do there's a clip out there from the Howard Stern Show of Norm and Artie talking about the time they spent with Uecker. You've probably already heard it, but if you haven't it is hilarious!!! Uecker does have an interesting career. From MLB, to his frequent Carson appearances, his acting... might be worth profiling him someday. Love this podcast Mike. Keep it up! ruclips.net/video/PE7l9-f18UM/видео.html
We played some of that in the Artie Lange episode. Very funny
People that hate Carrot Top most likely have never seen his act and should probably not have an opinion. These same people hate Nickelback, Two and a half Men and whatever else the internet tells them to. In other words they follow the crowd, they are sheep.
I loved the prop comic The Amazing Jonathan.
We did an episode on him a few months ago

@@BlindMikeProject yeah that was a good episode.
carat top is an all-time legend he tells a Gallagher story on Neil Brennan that's great from recently… Op Anthony
We get into that toward the end
@@BlindMikeProject thanks man I'm just starting it now I'm a big fan I'm trying to spread your videos and tell people you deserve a lot more views
He's a bore
@@BrownEyePinch did you think I meant he's an all-time legend for his onstage comedy? Partially but you're an idiot of course I meant his offstage persona and legendary partying status
also I've been telling Contant creators that I've been able to contact like this that I had to start a new account my old one got deleted so might look like I'm a new subscriber
Carrot Top is the proof of the idiom, "there is no such thing as bad publicity." Of course there is publicity that can destroy you or your career, but everyone saying how much of a hack you are is actually going to help your ticket sales. Especially if you're actually funny on stage. 😉
'bill hicks died miserable but jay leno has 200,000 cars so who played it right" = brendan schaub level commentary
That's high praise
@@BlindMikeProject i'm barely high at all
When I was young I thought that everyone who was successful had sold out. Now I realize that no one is going to pay you if you're not successful. 🤔
no he basically just admitted to doing steroids UFC fighters can't just go get everything at a GNC or they would fail their tests it's totally got a bunch of "steroids" at GNC for sure
Oh my God whats wrong with his face?
I fell asleep
Thanks for giving it a try!
😂😂😂😂😂 roid top
