Lopez was terrible and his show was going to be canceled before Conan came to TBS late night. Lopez welcomed Conan to the network and had no issue about it until his show got cut. It's not the same situation in the slightest because Conan didn't want to take over Lopez Tonight, he just had a show before it.

I always maintained this in Rogan and other's comments. Never understood the hate for Ari. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of him plus I'm also very antisemitic, he's clearly much more talented than much of all Rogan's main crew (Bert, Tom, Brendan) and other LA "comics" like Bobby Lee. This reminds me of Platos defence of Socrates. Ari could indeed be the Socrates of our time. Ari is the most genuine and likeable person in the rogan universe. He is not for everyone but I would say he is a true comedian. I like him.
