    Lee Brown who was the safety commissioner during this time is still alive and probably the only one who knows the truth about what actually happened. Subpoena him to testify about the murders!

      Sidney Dorsey, a member of the Task Force who helped search Wayne's home, is also still alive, and he also knows the truth about the Atlanta Murders. Unfortunately, he is serving a life prison sentence for murder!!

    I, personally, believe Wayne Williams is guilty. But I agree with re testing everything to put it to rest once and for all.

    • @paulbell4845
      @paulbell4845 5 лет назад +3

      There's nothing left from the original cases to test. It's a waste of public money.

    • @lovablevietboy
      @lovablevietboy 5 лет назад +4

      They did a DNA test in 2000's which nailed coffin to Wayne Williams, that dog Sheba proved to be on all the bodies

    • @Tazman1234
      @Tazman1234 4 года назад +5

      @Quinn Drake your absolutely right. Wayne Williams was the fall guy...

    • @rucianapollard7098
      @rucianapollard7098 2 года назад +1

      @Raymond Chow The DNA test did not exonerate Wayne, but it did not conclusively prove his guilt, either. As long as there is NO forensic evidence against him, there is still room for doubt.

    I was the same age as these guys and remember those killings... Even though I lived in the DFW area, I was paranoid about someone kidnapping me and killing me but I can only imagine what it must have been like actually living in Atlanta at that time.

      Yeah im 45 and remember hearing this on the radio while it was going on. I was scared out of my mind even living in Texas

      My Cousin who lived in Atlanta at the time during the murders her parents sent her to stay with us over the summer. It was okay but she didn't understand that what her parents did was for her own good and safety. It was a terrifying time, children were still going missing or being found and everyone wanted justice and there was none to be found, 40 years later an innocent man maybe in prison. A serial killer may still be free never to be brought to justice..

    "When I was a kid, I use to think Wayne Williams, and Arthur Ashe was the same person, I even remember, when they caught Wayne Williams, I was watching the news saying...Dam! why they didn't mention, nothin about him...playing tennis"🤷🏾‍♂️

  • @MelissaMartinez-ly9dm
    @MelissaMartinez-ly9dm 5 лет назад +12

    Wayne was probably most likely connected to the person that was killing these children, maybe he was the one that would recruit them & bring them to the killer, similar to candyman & elmer hayes.

      How and why you assume this?

    • @rucianapollard7098
      @rucianapollard7098 2 года назад

      You are one of the few people who reached that conclusion, and I totally agree with you! Wayne was very likely a child pornographer who took nude pictures of boys and teenagers. There was a child sex-for-higher ring operating in Atlanta during the murders. I contend that Wayne worked for the ring by passing the nude pictures around the ring, then a "client" could choose a boy, and Wayne would deliver the kid. He knew several of the victims, and he knew some of the killers. I suspect he may have helped dispose of some of the bodies.

      Exactly they have always labeled him the Atlanta Child Murderer but he was never charged or found guilty of murdering any of them so it makes one wonder why they closed all those case and never gave the family any answers some folks with big rank got they hand all in this and if it ever comes out there will be an uproar in Atlanta

      I don't think Edward Hope Smith, the 1st victim, was a part of the other murders, I think he was killed over drug money.

      Hi. I really wish that they would get to the bottom of this, this is decades later , they have the tools to solve this. I wonder why its taking so long. Stay safe.

    • @rucianapollard7098
      @rucianapollard7098 2 года назад +1

      @Melanie Blair I think it's taking so long because people in high places do not want to get to the bottom of things because it may expose some things that would outrage the public!

    Wayne Williams killed those kids no if ands or buts

    • @Tazman1234
      @Tazman1234 4 года назад +4

      I seriously doubt that. You mean to tell me, the authorities couldn't convict him on atleast 1 of the 29 murders of those kids. They didn't find one bit of evidence to tie Wayne Williams to any of those kids. There should have been something. He was the fall guy. The KKK killed those kids and they covered it up. For fear it would start a race of war...

    Hoping desperatelty that they'll stumble upon SOMETHING to exonerate the man that they convicted ages ago. No new evidence, just needing some good PR for the "poor and oppressed".

    WHY HAVEN'T YOU BROUGHT IN THE PSYCHIC DETECTIVES, FOX 5? You've only had 40 years! ...and not one of you called Dion Warwick when she was alive and had an 800 number!

    BULL! It's a "fresh attempt" to improve the public image of blacks who find Williams "embarrassing" so the drag out all of the old evidence, lacking ANY NEW EVIDENCE, hoping to find some scrap of doubt that they will play up into a MAJOR CONSPIRACY!! Lets cut the crap! You're going to let him off no matter what the evidence says, so just DO IT!!

    • @frankieaddams3937
      @frankieaddams3937 5 лет назад +1

      I disagree. T
      It was the cops who made the decision to discard all the evidence collected from those murdered children. These parents DESERVE justice for their babies.
