Sounds like you've got some nice plans for the layout David. Hope you enjoy the rest of your Summer and I look forward to seeing more videos on both layouts in the future 😃
Hi David. You got a bargain with the newer Lenz handset. :-) Items are now taking weeks to transit to and from Germany, so your purchases in UK were the correct decision. Keith
Useful video David, and great to see and hear your plans. Your Lenz DCC kits sounds like a nightmare. I have to say that you may well be putting off some DC folk who might be considering DCC with your horror story about chips being blown !!!! I like to restrict my DCC to purely powering locos and units.
Hi - great to see your plans and hear of your progress and knocks, we all get them! Could I please ask if you have a description and link to the magnets as I am looking for exactly the same? Have a great summer, all the best and thanks, Julian
Hi Julian, thanks for watching. Most people prefer long magnets under the cork, however I find pole magnets work perfectly well between the sleepers. I will definitely make a video on them in July. Here's a link to the ones I use. www.first4magnets.com/circular-disc-rod-c34/4mm-dia-x-12-5mm-thick-n42-neodymium-magnets-0-72kg-pull-p2428#ps_0_2446|ps_1_645
