@@HorsehayRailwayModeller yeh I grabbed a bag of brown grout, was thinking of using it as a paste for the static grass to go on top. Look forward to seeing the update.
I would get a Heljan weston 52 not a Dapol . The Dapol one derails. I have 2 Heljan 52's and have had very little issues with them . Also an old lima .
I'll have to look into this, I'd heard the dapol was a better detailed and illuminated model but hadn't heard of the running issues. Will be sure to go to a model shop and try before I buy if possible.
