How to make the floral lace dress

- This adorable double layer dress has a feel of a romantic summer, besides of beeing trendy you could also wear it with a pair of heels.
Perfect for a day time look.
If you do decided to make this, you will need these materials: lace, jersey, measuring tape, pins, sewing machine, chalk or pencil, scissors, a top.
I haven't used a sowing machine in so many years, but you really inspired me to start sowing again. Thank you for all of your awesome videos.

My student niece was moaning that she'd not got anything 'nice' to wear to a party, so I got out my trusty sewing machine, had a rummage for some fabric and she came up with a cream satin underdress with a coffee coloured lace overdress - loads of her friends wanted to know where she got it! You've been a brilliant inspiration to her and I wish you all the luck in your future ventures

the cool thing is is tht you dont have to sew the under dress on to the lace part so you can change the background colours!!! GENIUS!!

Beautiful dress. It's really easy to make a dress for a straight body, no tailoring required as you would for curves.
I can't speak for everyone but I know that when people ask me where I got items I've made I'm always excited, never awkward. :D For someone to like what you've made enough to -ask- you where you got it is a high compliment! And people are always surprised to know that people actually still make their own clothes. haha!

@bluerosehunter most of the time the feathers falls naturally of the bird :) But my earring was made from a craftman :)

I personally think that you should have put layers of the floral fabric onto of the white "dress" . But it looks great the way it is now.
@Mercurync17 I'm pretty sure she just took three wide pieces of extra fabric, tied one end together, and braided it as long as she needed it. Simple enough.
