Let me just start off by saying /wow/. Watching this almost put me into tears, all of the hard effort and work Rosie and I put into kickstarting this project has really paid off - it turned out phenomenally. I want to make a huge thanks to Rosie, for supporting and helping me brandish this idea for a MAP. What originally started off as a PMV that would have most likely been abandoned, has flourished into a gorgeous MAP that I am so proud to have been part in developing. My midnight dance has turned into a gorgeous masterpiece with not just Rosie's help, but with each individual supporter and MAP animator within the project. Thank you for making a dream of mine become true - I'm so unbelievably grateful for all the hard work and effort put into this MAP. It was well worth every struggle, wait, and all the blood, sweat, and tears we put into this MAP. It looks breathtakingly beautiful and I'm getting emotional every time I watch it. Thank you so much for your help, everyone, I can't express my gratitude enough.

Wow, being a leader must be hard. Especially if you intend to be like Tallstar. He never wanted any trouble and he didn't make any trouble, the only trouble was Shadowclan and Riverclan
Picture this.
You are the leader of a clan of your choice. You believe in pacifism and anybody could change their evil, ambitious path. You have your last name 'star' and your nine lives and everything. You never rarely get into battles because you stick to the warrior code and in your life spam nothing bad is happening that much.
But... In a world where everything is at peace, and you are the only one who could stay alive for longer than others; You could see your clan, crumbling around you, slowly... You could see the elders; Who maybe has a cat who mentored you. You see them; dying. You see the warriors; Slowly moving on to the elders. And the Apprentices; you slowly believe they are not ready because their mentors are getting old, and that they didn't teach the apprentices properly.
And the kits; who are still alive, but too young. You are the only one who can come back after dying 9 times. But if you don't die due to battles or an evil villain; then you only age. And every time you die of a regular cats age; you lose a life. So it would take such some time for you to die fully. But as you age; you see all the cats you grew up with; slowly moving on. And then a new generation comes in. It's not the same...
They're just replacements for your friends and your littermates.
You feel depressed
You feel tired of life
You don't want to be here just to see everyone fade away
You want to yell at Starclan "HOW DID YOU MANAGE?"
But
You're a leader
You are noble
You are respectful
You can't say what you need to say.
You have these words stuck in your head
Day and night
You don't want to be here any more.

this reminds me of my oc, sparrowstar. as a kit, her mother was hard on her and eve clawed her a few times. her mother had always been upset at her for not being as skilled as her siblings, even using it against her (ex: "rootkit and farkit were already battling at your age!") as an apprentice, she helped everyone after witnessing her littermates ripped apart by wolves. she prays to starclan daily afterwards, and her best friend, aspenheart, dies. aspenheart was the best medicine cat the clans had seen, but quailstar cruelly took her life away after aspenheart was kitting a kittypet's kits. after this, sparrowpaw lost faith in her leader; leaving her only friend shatterpaw. she has always trusted him, and him her.
she trusted her mentor, misty. misty was a queen at the time, but quailstar forced her to. misty was a motherly caring cat who always believed in and gae time to sparrowpaw. a few moons after she kitted, misty was hit by a car after a fight with her mate. sparrowpaw was in neighboring forest nearby where misty was hit. of course she blames herself, she really couldn't stop doing so. she became a warrior, and shattertail asked her to become his mate, she accepted. her life began to become more happy, until she was promoted to deputy after her own father's death. she had hatred for quailstar for aspenheart's death, so she refused to even speak with the she-cat.
that debt would be soon paid, when quailstar sacrificed her own life during a wolf attack. pushing her deputy out of the way, she suffered a fatal wound to the stomach. her last words still echoed through sparrowheather's mind when she had become the leader; "have faith in your clan, never give in, for you carry firestar's wish, sparrowheather." of course, she questioned who firestar was, unsure what he even looked like, until he visited her in a dream. sparrowstar had been waiting so long to meet him, now that she had, she knew her purpose. she would lead prophecyclan to its greatest.
sadly enough, sparrowstar had to witness her kits grow, and all die off. she had to witness her mate die, her brother who survived the wold invasion, and of course, her new best friend, nightfreckle. he drown to death, and while she tried to save him, there was a battle going on and she couldn't help him. she fell into a depression just like she had with her mentor, misty. she had begun to mingle with washclan, meeting the leader and developing feelings for him. she was on her last two lives, so she had begun to hang out with the kits. she soon watched her clan grow, until her final battle.
cats leaped out at her apprentice, causing her to defend him. she pounced on top of him, hiding him under her hide. she was torn apart by brinkclan cats, before she said a final message to her apprentice, flamepaw.
Crimson dripped from Sparrowstar's mouth, as Flamepaw nuzzled her softly. She felt tears drip onto her fur, beginning to wash the blood from it. Taking in a few wheezy breaths, she begins to mew.
"Flamepaw...you will live on, you will grow, and you will carry on Firestar's legacy. I...I believe in you."
It became difficult for her to breathe, so she let go. Her paws relax along with her limbs, and she closes her eyes before taking a last breath.
The map turned out amazing !! Thanks for picking me as Bluestar! So glad to be apart of this !!

Thistleclaw never was truly evil, sure he did some questionable things, but he still wasn't pure evil as the main fandom tends to picture him.
Thistle was a cat who never actually murdered someone, and didn't deserve to go to the df (before spottedleaf's heart came out). Thistleclaw was extremely battle hungry, and this later on caused his demise.
Sure, thistle became even more cold and bitter after snowfurs death and bluefur taking away whitekit. I mean, he had practically lost everything before he got assigned to mentor tigerpaw (which I'll get to later); sweetpaw, whitekit and snowfur. Even goddamn tc thought he was evil, this was pushed even further due to bluefur being pissed about his existence as a whole.
The events with tiny is his fault, but like, tigerpaw could've chosen not to do what his mentor told him,,,,, I can't really say anything about sl's heart bc I haven't personally read it.
blue neptunes Thistleclaw turn evil because he the lost the love of his life Snowfur. After that he vowed to destory all the clans so no Thunderclan cat would feel the same pain and lost as him.

The ways they died were completely opposite. Yellowfang died because of a fire and Bluestar died because of water.

The intro at the beginning added a heck ton of depth to the MAP and made it a hell of a lot more dramatic jesus! The quotes were really well chosen, and the artists did amazing! The MAP itself? Hecking heck its beautiful! The script is so well written and shown, and you can tell how much effort was put into each and everyone's parts! The palette for the chorus really makes the MAP more energetic, not just showing the sadness of Bluestar's life.I can't get over how the lyrics are "Feel your mother at your side." Aaa I have a huge headcanon that Moonflower watched Bluestar and Snowfur's each and every move after she died.
This is seriously one of the most gorgeous projects I've ever seen, if not my favorite! Astounding work everyone!!

Yeah that pretty much destroyed his character. He completely went off the deep end after Snowfur died. Yet somehow he also manipulated a child into being in love with him?? Like that makes no sense.

@@hydra_mamorata4877 I really do agree here. But in the books, Thistleclaw didn't really become a pedophile, did he? I mean, he was older than Spottedleaf by quite a bit when he started showing his interest in her. But again, this series is a CAT based series. I mean, when you look at it, Dustpelt and Ferncloud were almost in basically in love while Dustpelt a Warrior, and Ferncloud an apprentice. Adding on to that, we can't really forget about Spiderleg and Daisy's relationship either. We can't call any of these cats pedophiles because they simply live in a different world then we do. I mean, some things we consider brutal and harsh are completley normal to cats and other animals. For example, killing. The cats in the series all kill prey items and sometimes even other cats. We don't pay much attention to that because, well, they're cats. But you would, a HUMAN, ever kill something like that? Thistleclaw definitely deserved to go to the Dark Forest, but not for being a pedo, cause he wasn't one. In our world, he was, but in the Warrior Series, he wasn't. His character was a lot better than people take credit for, but most people can't seem to look at him as an actual cat, and instead a pedophile. Sorry I got a little bit angry here. I just don't like the fact that people view Thistleclaw as a pedo for just being a normal cat. Sure, he liked someone that was younger than him, but that isn't a way to picture him in the Warriors World.

I swear this is the BEST Warriors MAP I've ever seen! I just LOVE every single detail you added (Like that intro and outro) and all the animators did an AMAZING job to bring this to life! It couldn't turn out better, it's just so appealing to look at. Also, it captures every single moment of Bluestar's life perfectly. It was so worth the wait

I first saw this map 3 years ago. I was midway through Fire and Ice. I had no clue what happened to Bluestar yet, but as I got further into the series, I came back and watched this again. It's the most nostalgic piece of Warriors media that I think will ever exist for me. Roseshards, GhostLantern, and every artist who worked on this, thank you for a genuinely life-changing creation. You have my eternal respect.
The switch in the beginning from the dialogue to the music gave me the absolute shivers

holy cow was this map powerful, stellar job to everyone who participated!!
What I love about this map is how Snowfur actually chases off the Shadowclan cats. Most videos I see it's always either Snowfur just running out in the road out of pure anger or purposefully standing out in the road waiting for a car to hit her.
Bluestar went through a lot in her youth. Her father neglected her and Snowfur, she lost her mother to a fox-hearted WindClan cat, she lost her sister to the crushing paws of a monster, she was forced to give up her kits to prevent a blood-thirsty cat from ruling ThunderClan, she lost faith in StarClan and her Clan after Tigerclaw's betrayal. She put so must trust in Tigerclaw, a strong, promising young warrior, just for it to be all thrown away. She realized that her most trusted warrior, Fireheart and his friends Greystripe and Ravenpaw were right all along, she felt guilty for not trusting them.. and guessing she probably felt redeemed after saving Fireheart and ThunderClan from the dogs. At least she died happily knowing that Mistyfoot and Stonefur forgave her, and she was reunited with her friends and family in StarClan.
Not to mention from what I’ve read, her father ditched her mother and was indirectly responsible for Moonflower’s death.

Once again me crying, I mean whyyyy Bluestar had such a hard life every single time I read her book prologue I cry, plus I’d wanted Sunstar to stay alive he was like the father she got! At least a Fireheart arrived to save her soul. And make her happy just the few moons she had left, I will always love you in my heart Bluestar!

Here is the thing:
1. Bluestar didn’t have much friends.
2. She was the only cat who saw Thistleclaw’s violence.
3. Bluestar went crazy once Tigerclaw tried to murder her.
Bluestar risked her whole life to keep her clan safe and I love bluestar for that

I’m in love with all of this?? The beginning is definitely my favorite part! When Bluestar falls into the water it gives me actual chills. It’s like a MOVIE.
3:23 God this is such a amazing map part, it’s just so beautiful with the shadings. I like how oakheart appears and watches his kits, while Thistleclaw in the background is with whitepaw.

Glass Animals saved my LIFE, and I’m finally seeing them in concert tonight. This MAP was my final push to start listening to them 6 years ago and i come back and revisit it all the time. you have NO idea how much these animations mean to me 💗
Bluestar was sad as an apprentice bc her sister was more social than her. :)
Bluestar lost everything in her life,
Her mother got sent to battle (died) when she was an apprentice.
Her father was never there for her or her sister, and instead found a younger mate.
She took Snowfur, now a nursing queen to on a walk to talk about her mate, and Snowfur ran on the thunder path chasing away Shadowclan cats who were on territory.
She fell in love with Oakheart, had kits and brought them to riverclan leaving Mosskit behind while she carried Mistykit and Stonekit, which lead into Mosskits death.
She lost her mate Oakheart who was crushed to death by rocks.
Her kits grew up believing another Riverclan cat was their mother, and no matter how much Bluestar tried to bond with them, they turned away from her.
She almost lost her deputy to a dog by the gorge and took it upon herself to take her own life and kill the dog alongside herself.
you and swifty did a WONDERFUL job! I'm glad to be in this growing community as your fan, BreadMan!
I really feel bad for Bluestar, she knew Thistleclaw wasn’t a good cat and she tried to convince Snowfur. She lost her mother, her sister, her kits (one being dead ofc) and never even got to know her last two kits before she died, and one of the only cats she thought she could have trusted, the cat she appointed as deputy after Lionheart’s death had tried to kill her, the same cat who was also mentored by Thistleclaw too. She lost everything, she lost her faith in her clan, her faith in starclan. She was put under all that pressure, and Tigerclaw’s attempt to kill her just made it burst out. Atleast she can finally be with her kin in starclan
And all because of that stupid prophecy…..:(

And can I just say, I LOVE how you included the fact that Snowfur was actually killed running after trespassers? So many people seem to leave out that detail (not that it makes their work any less stunning, of course!), and I'm glad there's a MAP out there that shows the real deal!
This is one the first Warriors MAP that I watched beacuse it came about the time I got into the fandom. This MAP just feels different than the rest, it has a feeling that really pulls me in. I love this MAP thank you for it.

yeah, thistleclaw made bluefur feel like crap over snowfur’s death (which wasn’t even her fault), ruined tigerpaw and wasn’t that great of a father to his son. i hate him tbh, his only redeeming quality was how much he cared for snowfur

This is absolutely amazing. Bluestars story was always full of sadness and dispare and this MAP shows her full story with beautiful animation and a perfect song. I always loved bluestars story and I’m happy someone made a MAP of it ! I’m trying not to cry watching this ! Great job to all the artists !

I remember seeing when the MAP first opened, and now it's been over year since the finished product came out, and I can't stop watching it! I'm not fond of Warriors, but this MAP just kills me, it's so good! And I'm a die hard Glass Animals fan, song choice made it a billion times more incredible
