Paul Stanley suggested a bridge between the 2nd and 3rd verses of my new released music video. Very edgy and ballsy, no-nonsense rocker. Comments always appreciated.
I disagree. i have one of the guitars he smashed during the Rock The Nation tour. Fully functional, but a lower end silvertone guitar. If you watch the Rock the Nation DVD, you can see him make the exchange for the lower end one before he smashes it.
i've got a kramer neck that he 'smashed' at newcastle in the 80's. it's got a saw cut where the neck joined the body. (the puff!!) anyone want it? (for a small fee of course)
Ok for all you kids too young to know better, guitar smashing started with Pete Townsend of The Who. Paul has smashed guitars since the beginning and, yes they are real. He throws them out to the audience.
come on, the guitars that some rock stars smash on the stage aren´t original, i bet they have a lot of guitars that just look the same, or maybe they don't really care coz they can have another one anytime they want
Everybody: Thats a fake guitar. that guitar is prepared to be broken. Paul changes his original guitar 10 seconds before the song finishes. Look other videos and you´ll see....
he actually changes guitars right before he starts tossing it around and shit so its probably a cheap knockoff guitar..its on their dvd "rock the nation" just watch it on the camera thats following paul, you can choose a camera view watching each member
Notice how every time he pretends to hit the guitar he just swings it but the guitar never touches the ground until the last time when it finally "breaks". It would be so stupid to break a 8,000 bucks axe every night don't you think? LOL
Awesome video, Paul rocks!
One of the greatest rock voices ever.
rock n roll all nite
Not now, he is selling them... Anyone interested? :)
Smashing a perfectly good guitar......=)
i wish i could do that to my crappy washburn but then i would have nothing else to play till my sg comes out of the shop
Paul invented the guitar smash
@licensednurse1 yeah and keith moon initiated blasting drums with gun powder!

I'd do the same if I'd play guitar like him...:(

He gets them for free from guitar companies.
is clean
paul change the guitar
what he should have done is smash one of those guitar hero controller guitars and then pulled out his real guitar to rock out!
this was kinda cool all up until the point where he spoke

Even if they got alot of cash it dosent mean theyre stupid... smashing a 100$ guitar looks fun but 1000+ starts to be kinda stupid....
But why they do that? To me, smashing your own instrument is something like peeing on your own portrait. But that depends on how one was brought up.
$25 guitar, no electronics, and plastic everything.
