question I have 48v LA setup that' s getting tired and will be going to lifep04. 1 is it better to go 1 big 48v 16 cell or 2 24v 12v ect.. also 2. could i hook up (p04)set to inverter and only discharge now and then until the LA bank finally dies and recharge with bench supply over days of charging?
i dont use a BMS for mine for trolling boat motor...i balance charge it and use a cell checker to have it go off at 3.5v to give me a heads up to no go too far out on my boat and manage the power in amps... 100amp battery and im pulling max amps at 41amps at full power but i hardly use full power.,mostly at 15 to 30 amps runs .. so far no issues after 1 year, pretty easy to manage it without bms. its like driving a stick car vs a automatic lol
What is the make and model of that device with display next to the circuit breaker? Thanks. BTW, what does it show on the bar code sticker? 3.2V 90AH? The pictures on your link shows 3.2V 75AH.
oh i order 90Ah, but i didn't check the code, if it was 75Ah that mean this battery is more then 100% effeciency. cause total power discharge from the 4 battery is 1000Wh.
that is true. but at that time my BMS is not arrive yet, so to try to maintain the charging voltage as well, and the inverter have low voltage cut off already that why to try it without BMS.
Hi Kim, I plan on buying this as backup for my Laptop. How long do you think a 90AH Battery will last if it is fully charge and I use around 180 Watts? Thanks.
for lifepo4 the efficiency is about 90% so for 90Ah 3.2V=259Wh at 90% so 4 battery capacity is 1036W. if we calculate the duration will last without the inverter consumption it would stand up to 5.7 hour or 5 hours and 45 minutes.
You said the battery was 14.6 v but you started with 13.7v. in future set this up with one constant load source without switching stuff in and out of the circuit, very confusing and not precise.
Hello experts, I put a 4S DALY BMS to my 272AH pack and check the voltage from BMS P- to Batter B+ and it show 3.11V, when i check from Battery B- to B+ it show 13V.... is the voltage from P- suppose to be same as B- ? thanks
sometime bms need to reset to work properly. if this is the first time you connect the BMS please check the balance wire to each cell, make sure that it connect to its right cell. if it is in use and this issue appear, please reset the bms by disconnect the B- from load and disconnect the balance connector from BMS, wait for 2 minutes and then reconnect the balance connector then B-.

Hi there thanks for the video!! Question, i am building up a 600ah LifePo4 battery bank. It contains 24 cells, 3.2v each. So i will build up 6 blocks (each block is 12v 100Ah). On each block i will put a bms on it, so it is able to provide me 100A safely, and also because of safety reasons. My question is, can i put all the blocks (with the bms's on them) in parallel? is this working without any problems? Thanks in advance, and keep it up! Carlo
sorry for reply so late, yes my friend you absolutely can do that and it work perfectly safe and good performance. by separate its in 6 block with its own bms, it mean it can check every cell of your battery, if 1 cell is bad the whole system still work but only 1 block is cut off. so you may replace just only one block or one cell not all 24 cells.
I honestly would just put 3 cells in parralel and then in series. It would just reduce the chance of an bms failing and you would never notice and bms going bad. Ya just end up using less and less of the cells. But this would all depend on how new the cells are and if they are matched correctly.
Can you give me the HEIGHT of the battery (without the terminals). and the LENGTH of the bottom in millimeter I don't need the thickness size. Thank you.
@@kimtinal9353 Thanks for the reply. I ordered this from Aliexpress from this vendor. Although, I have not yet received them yet, it's so frustrating. Netbp, the cells are merged together. Basically 1 kw/hr with 4 cells in a 12v output. according to the battery specs 12v x 90ah should produce 1080Wh's but in practice 1070 in this case. New cells should have 5-10% more real world capacity than the specs which these dont.
