NOTES: small typo in the Blood Angels list - I listed 2 Jump Chaplains but meant only 1 (the other JDC unit is lead by Lemartes). I also mention that Fervent Acclamation activates the Tannhausers Bones ability, but as many of you pointed out it actually only applies the *effect* of a Vow, doesn't actually activate it for the unit. As a Black Templar player, unless something has changed in the wording of the Fervent Acclamation and Bones (or a FAQ I missed), the enhancement checks if the vow is active for your army, not unit. So giving the unit access to Uphold does not unlock the second bullet point of a 5+ FNP.
Yeah this list is wild but very, very abnormal even with a meta shift. - seal judiciar and t-Bone terminators are on the opposite ends of the spectrum and cannot get their second (better) abilities with a vow change strat. - foot slogging sword bros is almost unheard of, and he's does it for two squads (or one big one)
@@CasuallyCarrots most likely he is reserving the two small units and the big unit is in the Land Raider (or the other way around) so the amount of foot slogging is at a minimum

I played the Necron list at the Birmingham event. One of ther things that players might not appreciate is how tall the Tesseract Arc is. Its a subtle thing but this means it can shoot into units hiding in terrain much more easdily especially with the Hyperphasing jump at 3 inches. No where is safe!

All of the tournaments I listed this week were explicitly using Pariah rules I exluded many that listed Leviathan missions or didn't list the mission sets they were using.

I tried to copy the Astra Militarum list to tinker with it, but isnt it 5 points over 2000? Removing Grand strategist from the command squad solves the problem, but that also makes them considerably less effective.
@@OrrgunUK I use New Recruit and it seems completely up to date at least from what I can tell. Maybe I did one of those things of adding some very closely named unit instead of the intended one, etc. If y'all are finding that it is 2000 then I must have done something wrong myself.

Hi @SumsieBun. I was the guard player and yes I used secret Mission once. And was the one to hold the 3 objectives in no man’s land at the end. This won me the game.
Have i missed something? The Rubric Marines as allies to the renegade raiders CSM shouldnt benefit from their detachement ability right? As they dont have the heretic astartes keyword.
I believe it is an army rule, where the khorne berserkers, rubric marines, and plague marines if taken in a CSM list, replace their specific faction keyword for Heretic Astartes.
@@aalagerwaard my guess is the SoS focus on scoring and denying actions by battle shocking everything while Canis, Tanks, and the Dread are responsible for removing enemy units. Dread is also probably solid for standing on objectives and tanking some.

How did that dark angels list win i have no idea. You can delete the eradicators with a 6 man inceptor squad easily. So can you do the same to companions that have no invus.
Congratulations GW! Codex space marines is now the very worst faction in the game!! Funny how nerfing them didn't do anything to tone down the divergent chapters. It's almost like everyone said this would happen.

I bet several or more of these tournaments were using Leviathan rules.
All of the tournaments I listed this week were explicitly using Pariah rules

Make sure you're app is updated, I've got the list in the official gw app and it's 2k on the nose.
