Sully and the guys from Godsmack are genuinely good people. You'll be as impressed with "Unforgettable" . Respect and love.....
Sully has been my hero since I was 14. I'm turning 35 this year. My daughter who will be 14 I named after his daughter because I've always related to his writing. His music got me through literally everything I've been through. Godsmack, Another Animal, and Sully's solo music has been my safety blanket for 20 years now. This man is one of the most underrated artists ever. Even as large as Godsmack is they deserve so much more. Love these guys and how real they are.
I wouldn't call him my hero, but I definitely love him and their music. He introduced me to my love of this genre. Huge influence on my life.

I love Godsmack! My favorite of them is "I Stand Alone".
They are an amazing band. They can range from hard and heavy, to trippy, to ballads that can hit you right in the feels. For the video for the song "Unforgettable," they filmed at a bunch of schools, working with the school music programs and such to teach the kids and get t hem involved with music more. It was so awesome. "Voodoo" will take you on one hell of a trip. "Whatever" is one of my favorites to blow off some steam. Their covers of "Come Together," "Rocky Mountain Way," and "Good Times, Bad Times," are just great. Made them their own, while keeping them close to the originals, as one should do with a great cover. "Time Bomb" is another great one. ...I'm going to stop now... WAIT. "Serenity." That one is amazing. Definitely "Serenity."
There's the 2000 Nu metal bands that came out all around the same time. And they all get categorized together somehow.........and there's Godsmack. They are and have been collectively(by the fans I believe) put in a category by themselves. Please listen to more. Like "Awake, I stand alone, Vodoo and 1000 mph.
Oh and especially Sully Erna Drum Battle as well. That's one of my personal favorites for lives.......
The vulnerable song came to Sully Erna shortly after he'd spent some time with his friend Lady Gaga. im a huge fan by Godsmack since i was just a kid,everytime their song makes me feel like they undarstand me,my anger,my sadness,my loneliness ,so i can told you to react by their songs im sure that you gonna love it. the songs are (When legends rise,Voodoo,whatever, I stand alone, Re-align , Unforgetabble ,Keep away,Serenity) All of their songs are amazing :)

I was at the only Godsmack show I ever saw. Awake tour, forced our way to the front row right before the drum battle and it was the show of a lifetime. Almost as great as 3rd row for the KISS reunion tour.
when I hear this song, it always brings me to tears, to the depths of my soul, you know? And when my soul is miserable, depression, problems at work, problems at home, I hear Sally’s voice and, having burst into tears, I come to my senses again.

Godsmack is one of my favorite bands. I have been listening to them for 20 years. I have seen them five times. They are very humble human beings, and amazing musicians who care. Just an unbelievable group of guys.
Why does this just have a feeling it could be a movie soundtrack?!! Yes, he has always had such a great voice, I can almost always listen to Godsmack any day! Unfortunately I haven't gone to a concert and I would love to at least once!!

These guys are geniuses, and their so freakin nice. They are actually one of the bands that got me into playing guitar and just music in general. Whenever I feel like I do t want to play anymore I tune into em and it makes me wanna jam again 🤘🤘

Godsmack is a great band to see live. I've had the opportunity to shoot photos of a couple of their shows (I'm a photographer for a radio station).
I saw Godsmack in concert at eighteen almost 25 years ago when they were promoting their first album at the time. Absolutely fun experience and the music was phenomenal. The Jim Rose Circus was one of the preshow acts and they were bizarre but in an interesting way.
Godsmack is great. One of my favorite bands of all time. Also, just for a little different taste, you should also check out some of Sully's solo acoustic stuff.

I would prefer to actually speak to you on my phone, and give you the run down of the history. And all they've done I've been into these guys. Since they're very first album, this is a 100% different. Then all their other songs I stand alone, Voodoo, Crying like a bitch, Is whatever, keep away. One thousand horsepower. Speak I get writers cramps trying to put all these songs I like

You should really get into Justin Furstenfeld from Blue October. That guy can really sing, their studio songs are below par compared to how awesome his voice is. There's a ton of everything with them but loads of emotional stuff. The guy can truly make you feel each word that comes out of him
