Found your channel over at Sailing Anarchy on the SV Seeker thread. Over 9000 comments on the topic. You should take a look. Interesting interview BTW.
I love used propane tanks for submersible hulls for their cost & quality. They are usually of quality steel & robot welded. Just a bit of a challenge removing the Mercaptan smell. I got lucky to find an original K-250 hull.
What attracted me to Doug and SV Seeker was his attitude. He'd show the successes and failures, but kept a cheerful attitude for all of it. Things that would have sent me into a cursing fit, he'd just laugh, shake his head, and start over. Really helped me shift my perspective and my own attitude.
Super interesting interview! Thanks for creating such awesome submarine content! It would be cool if you did more interviews with other diy submariners...
Isn't he just a fool? Why couldn't he be like you and take on massive life-changing projects that get finished in 2 weeks and come out looking and working exactly as planned? All while having relationships with other people that don't change at all.
@@thomasbecker9676 Yeah, I stopped paying attention to him after Doug completely berated a couple of retired hydraulics experts that had shown up to help (for free I might add) on the boat. Pretty sad clip of it here: ruclips.net/video/elYTJ5Rg-Ns/видео.htmlsi=rUYRvMKd2xFkxf3L&t=831

@@oliver9089 I'm not sure what you're even trying to say here. You didn't answer either of the two questions I asked.
@@Esschert Thanks, I quit paying attention years ago, before the boat was even painted.

Reading these comments, wow lol. You all saying you're not paying attention.. Clearly still paying attention lol.
Hello. I just came over from SV Seeker and listen to this video. It sounds interesting and now you have one subscriber more.
Weight out of the back is one way. Weight into the front is another to level it out. Maybe even another way to alter the waterline.
