Many manufacturers many types of pet films. This is not going to happen all the time, but if you have an issue this helps you solve it, so don't throw away your printer because is not the printer. In fact, now the manufacturers need to come out with better films if they want to continue selling their stuff.
THANK YOU for this video! I was having this problem 99% of the time I was trying to print. It turned out that just putting a stack of paper behind the transparent sheets for support is exactly what I needed. You've saved me SO much time now!
Hey man thanks for this - I was gonna take this thing apart for no reason - your suggestion to support it with paper led to the printer pulling more than one paper through which ultimately spat out alongside 3 staples!! Those staples had it jammed, thanks for your vid! they were jamming it from pulling the 13x19 paper - thanks!!
Hi thankyou for a great video, sadly none of these things have worked for me , Ive just converted my brand new epson L1800, it takes it about half way, then says paper jam or just ejects..I thought it was broken, until I decided to try normal paper and then no problem at all, but not once with the transfer paper, I tried for many hours! I dont know if it was because paper was from China or what?! :) Im just not sure where to go from here, apart from maybe buying some different transfer paper, what would you do in this situation, please? thanks Clare
@@KingdomDTF ah thank you, for taking time to reply and try and help us all :) I'm just waiting to get acrorip, I just tried printing through the printer first :)
@@KingdomDTF I have somewhat the same issue it will print on the film but it's only printing when I do anything through the actual printer program like if I go on there and I want it to check the heads or anything like that it prints just fine on the film but then when I go to acro and try to print, it jams in the middle of it every time and won't print so I don't know if I have settings wrong or something but I know that the printers okay I'm just not doing something right do you have any suggestions on what to try?
I've also been having this same issue for almost a year now and still haven't been able to print. I've contacted the manufacturer in China multiple times and was told to come on YT to help solve the issue. I've tried this method but it still doesn't work for me. I don't want to give up because I paid a lot for the printer and I am determined to get it fixed.
I just fixed mine!! Pw sensor was dirty as hell. On the 8550 take out the print head and under it there is one screw for the tiny pw sensor . Clean it up, put everything back together and done!! This happened to me because ink was all over the top of my print head and leaked into the sensor. You will know when you remove the dampers and see a ton of ink everywhere.
On the coated side the inks do not run, is very rare that happens. I can tell you lower the % ink you are using and make sure the weather is not affecting the inks, to hot or to cold can affects inks.
@@KingdomDTF I thank you that worked. Do you have a video that explains how you get large print and multiple pictures on your film. I've seen some of your videos where your prints are large or you have multiple prints on 1 film
I nozel checked and there are a lot of uneven lines. I did head cleaning a lot, so as ink charge but not works. Until just yesterday, no magenta is print ing. I have managed to fix it by printing several full magenta prints then doing a head clean. But still, almost all colors have blank spots in nozel check. I'll be honest, I purchased it from someone but they are not even replying with my message s. I'm glad I saw your channel, hoping I can find some help. Thank you.
hello friend, how about i have an epson l805 after removing the rollers i have a problem the left side prints a vertical stripe with the color as a gradient the printed one is new this may be due to the left side colors bad example a sharp purple on the side right and a light purple on the left side can you help me?
Watched this video, make the film lay to the front instead of the back, and then the printer recognised my film and the printed went successfully. Didn't know it was just that easy.
Try to put a peace of tape in the sensor, is the white part you see when you put paper close to the wheel that grab it. Also put more paper on the back for support.

@@KingdomDTF you’ve been such a help. I’ve noticed the A4 paper is more problematic. My A3 seems to load 8 out of 10 times. The bed board video was clutch too. I appreciate you
I have seen repair videos where the pickup roller turns. If it's not supposed to turn why is it a roller. I believe it has something to do with stopping the film in printing position instead of just ejecting it. I can't even get regular paper to load. In fact when I try all the suggestions of moving the pet film closer in the feed position the pet film gets polished by the SE roller, the half roller above the drive roller. Is there anyone out there that really knows the L1800? It would sure help a lot of people.
If you talking about smudge is probably your print head have dry ink on bottom or you need a piece of board to put on tray so the designs come out straight and don't bend.
@@KingdomDTF already clean by cleaning solution what i buy from you all ok. but the end of print start line. i put board but i dont know why? how much height of board i put? you have any video about that?

I have a problem with my epson l805 sir, if I print using my dtf film, it wont print but if I use plain bondpaper it prints
Maybe is not reading the film well, see if you can put more on the back for support and try to print.
I forgot my butcher paper from another job. It’s stick to my DTF design. Any hope for getting it off?

You need to check the color are not mixing in some point of the print head, maybe print head is bad.
Hi, thanks for the video.. But after doing this I cannot fix the problem... you have another solution? thanks..
Try to put more support to the back, and the roller that grab the sheet, clean that with alcohol.
Most people do it this way, just pushing the paper.
i put alcohol in my finger and just touch the rubber and the 3 grabber...it will be okie..

I'm still having this issue , i think we have to use both side matt dtf film , printer is not accepting single side matt films 😔😔😔
Some times the glossy is harder for the printer to see.
Hey my brother, where are you based?
Florida, USA
I’ve put paper behind it and nothing.
Put more paper and close to the white clips and wheel so it can grab it like in the video.
Mine doesn't even turn that gray roller.
In that case could be damage or loose. You need to replace it or check that underneath.
Hi thank you for all the info. Question can ido test print for nozzle check on regular paper or it has to be pet film ?
Yes you can, only thing you are not going to the the white on white paper.
I fixed my paper feed issue by going to settings on my printer and going to printer setup and turning off the paper size check.
Correct, on acrorip that need to be OFF.
which printer do u have? is it the Epson L1800, which part is the settings at?
