I just converted my L1800 and have all the colors in the spots, its printing lines on yellow and there is no white on any of my designs My yellow and red test prints are very light. I have ran at least 10 print test and head cleaning. The heads should not be clogged, they have never been used. I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you
see how the nozzle check is coming out, if is missing from the yellow maybe that nozzle need to be clean. Try to use hot distilled water first, if not cleaning solution, and after that if you use then do the water.
I how to replace the dampers on my whites as one had black in it. So now I'm trying to pull ink in the dampers. Have done it atleast 50 times. Ugh my machine hasn't been turned on for 2 weeks as I was out of town and was not leaving it on. Any tips?
Hi Kingdom, Love your videos. I am getting white lines now from my white ink. Im using the 100% fill all colored pixel areas, it started to happen after say 10 prints so its safe to say my settings were good before it started to happen.
After 5 or 10 prints if that happens do head cleaning because that mean the white ink started to dry or separate because inside the tank there is nothing shaking the ink.
Heyy, yesterday i used my L1800 for the first time. The image was great. Today i got black ink splatters arround my design. I did a head cleaning but was not helping. What to do? Thanks in advance.
Check the wiper that don't have dry ink. Is very rare that one day is good and the other bad like you describe. If you use cleaning solution you need to print multiple times to get the nozzle clean from the solution.
What if you have tried everything and still not pruning white , head cleanings , power cleaning, new head new ink cartridges and still No white? Please help
Thanks very much for this very important and helpful video; I’ve really learnt a lot from it and it has given me the confidence I lacked to venture into DTF printing. QUESTIONS: 1. Say, my white ink is clogged and not working to enable me do white under-base for dark T-Shirts, can I continue with the other colors without the white to print on light color T-Shirts? 2. Can I print direct from Corel Draw instead of the AcroRIP software?
1. Is recommended to have at least 40% under base of white since the powder stick to the white ink better than the cmyk. Some people have use only cmyk but the design maybe will not hold good in wash. 2. No, you need a rip software.
I have a question, for these DTF printers it is necessary to connect the CISS chip that connects the 6 dumpers? I ask because I don't see it when clean up dumpers. I see in the videos just take out the dumpers and suck the ink but nobody don't say anything about the chip that regulates the ink. Thanks for the possible response, Good video
Hello, great video thanks for your help.I want to ask something, i do football shirt prints.Sadly even my L1800 is new,the white ink doesnt completely cut the transparency of coloured image after print...i use %100 white + complete white selection.i use icc profile photoshop5 too as a variation. Can you advise me an alternative solution that may help me to get thicker white?Thank you
Shake the white ink every time before start to print so that way is mixed proper. Also, if the printhead have any nozzle clog that can affect the ink how it gets print.
Our converted EPSON L1800 printer smears print in the middle of the print. We are using film paper. It starts okay but midway it starts to smudge. How do we fix it?
For ink If you have a ciss you have continued ink flow and don't need to stop refilling cartridges or dampers vs having only cartridges or dampers once they get empty you need to stop getting them out and refill. For cleaning Using the dampers with a cleaning solution is more direct, if you use a ciss you need to fill all the lines before the liquid gets to the dampers. Hope I did not misunderstand the question.
Hi, how did you change ML and CL to white? I bought a UV printer based on an Epson L800 with CMWWKW ink in it,.. without any manual! do you use icc profiles for printing white?=?
Kingdom, thanks for the great help as always. Would you recommend removing the long bar in the bottom that holds the paper roller or would just remove those tinny white rollers leaving the long bar? The long bar seems to be pushing the film up against the print and it's rubbing out the ink. Thanks for your help
Hey I have a question I noticed that you have a lot of videos speaking about the Epson l1800 , but I noticed that we do not have too many videos in reference of the DTF Knight 6 machine so I'm wondering which of the two is better? Because I'm looking to buy one here within the next month from your guys website
L1800 is more popular. Knight 6 is an 1390 on steroids with many good features, but also I just bring a few of does, that's why I don't have so many videos.
I have a problem, it seems like my dampers (i think that's what they are called, them small ink tanks on top of print head) , so the white ones are not getting any ink in them, I keep finding out they are empty and having to refill them manually. Do you know anything about that? :/
That happens to the white ink most of the time, why? variation like ink separation, air flow, etc. comes to play. That's why is important check before start printing.
I'm having an issue with my white ink cartridges not filling on a 4 head printer and the white ink line is clear all the way from the ink storage. What do I do? Ink fills and cleans don't work
I have major problem too.I'm having banding in my white.I dod power flush, then one print after that is perfect.however, the next print after that,is trash again.😭

thanks for this video it really helped. But when we do all steps it seems that after 4 or 5 prints the line and transparency white ink happen to back? our question is do we have to do everytime after 4 or 6 prints or is there is some kinda trick on settings.
