Thank you so much for your tutorial. I too left my L1800 without printing for some time and here is the fun part. I took my L1800 out the box, loaded the ink and had to leave it alone because I got sick and had to be hospitalized. I really thought I had a very large and heavy paper weight, but your video gave me hope. I purchased brand new dampers and tubing and made sure the ink bottles are flowing; wish me luck. I will keep you posted. Thanks again for your help. 1

Thank you for the video, I had good result from the ultrasonic cleaning. I also used clear tape to cover the portion where the chip/electronic were exposed, I found some droplets on the tape which prevent the solution from getting to the chip.
Great video but this Ultra Sonic Machine ruined my basically brand new Print Head. I ran it twice at 180 seconds. After I was done, when I pump cleaning solution through nozzle 1, it comes up out of nozzle 3 and so fourth. I think the heat melted the diaphragms or loosened all the seals inside the print head. I recommend no longer than 90 seconds and let it cool before running it a second time.

I did the same but couldn't manage to unclog the white channels. Not sure if my cleaning solution isn't the best or I putted too much pressure to the head but after the procedure it is even worst than before. Looking forward to receive my new head...
I'm sorry to hear that. We can't rush the clogs. Until your new one comes in, maybe let that one soak in pure original windex OR get the clog buster solution. I forget who makes it.
The streaking you had after cleaning might be ink build up on the underside of your carriage. I have had success cleaning that by the following method. With the printhead removed, place some paper towels on the bed of the printer. Then put a little cleaning solution on the paper towel. Next move the carriage back and forth over the paper towel. Repeat this process until the underside of the carriage is clean.
Hello and thanks for the detailed video, question though I've seen another video where the printhead is cleaned but the guy strongly recommends not putting the printhead in the machine you used because according to him it can damage the gaskets in it. He recommends separating the nozzles from the printhead and putting only the nozzle in the cleaning machine as he said most times the clog is in their. What are your thoughts on that
Hello, I am currently facing a problem with the Syringe method for my white ink. The ink doesn't seem to move from the damper to the syringe and there was a lot of resistance when I pull on the syringe. I tried your method but the problem still persist, do you have any idea how can I solve my issue?
I’m still having issue with my white ink. I followed your steps. When I print the white is coming out milky. I have no clue. Could it be the white ink is expired maybe?
Please also note, DTF Inks and DTG inks are definitely not the same. When DTG inks dry up, it becomes rubber and cannot melt away with cleaning solution like DTF Inks. So when DTG Inks clog a print head, majority of the time its permanent.

Hey, Im having a problem where the white isnt thick enough on the back layer, and whenever I apply the adhesive powder it removes the top layer of white, and damges the image leaving a little of spots missing ink, very small spots. Do you have a solution for this?
You may have a clogged white channel OR you may not have your white turned up enough. Your powder should NOT be removing the white top layer, maybe change to a different powder.
