Hey dude! I've been watching your videos a ton recently. I just picked up an 04 Sequoia about a month ago, and am looking forward to getting some chunkier tires and a lift, and getting on the trails soon! The new wheel setup is dope btw

Thanks so much for following along! Congrats on the 04 Sequoia! Let me know if you have any questions about the lift or wheel / tire setup. I got an Old Man Emu 2” lift (have a video about it). It’s pretty affordable but ride quality isn’t the best. Might be worth looking at other lift options for your 04!

Amazing shot. I'll have to put that on the bucket list of trails. Did you have to lock your transfer case to get into 4x4?

Thanks for watching! To put it in 4wd, I just have a button that I push (this engages 4hi). I have a manual shifter to engage 4lo. I don't have any diff locks on this sequoia.

Your new wheels look great. Did you have to lift it to get the 285/70/17s to fit?

Thanks so much! I personally did lift my Sequoia. I went with an Old Man Emu 2” Lift Kit from 1st Gen Offroad. It’s not the best ride quality but was cheap and helps me fit the 33” tires with basically no rubbing (just light rubbing at full lock).

👋 I may have missed it but what road exactly did you take? I usually head to timothy or clear lake for dispersed camping. Id live to find some sweet new spots close by. 👍😁
