I have 3 Preludes in Australia love them i can't help but when i find one i have to save it and restore it they are only going up in price classic car so much enjoyment from them Honda should be very proud of this car !
My daddy had a 1991 or a 1990 Honda prelude and a cb7 Honda Accord ex at the same time. He worked in the school systems so he made really good money. Anyways the point of the story is these were both well-driving cars even for back then.
Looks like a fun project, good luck! I actually just sold my high school car about a year ago, a 1976 MG Midget 1500cc. Part of me wishes we had kept it.
I had a 93 Honda prelude some years ago it was gold gold in color I do believe from when I can remember I had the 1.6 liter remember the car good I just don't remember what I ever done with the thing
Trust me, the only beater on that Honda is the paint which can be repainted. The engine on that thing and transmission (manual or auto) will outlast you if serviced with OEM fluids and just driven as intended (not raced). I would trust the engine in this Prelude or any Honda of the Era late 80's to all of 90's (B, D, F or H) than any new car that: Prone to carbon build up (Audi and VW etc) Headgasket leaks (Subaru and Ford Eco Boost etc) Piston slap (Hyundai and Kia Nu and Theta engines etc) etc
Its beautiful a car🤩i have the same exact one like yours that ive purchase back in Nov.2019 same color too my body is a bit rougher than yours paint fade rust ding&dents its a project car as well. Cool vid! Proud 3rd gen owner 😎

I remember when these came out. They were hot looking for the time.
Still look good!
Car Groves true.

Can you get it back :)
Car Groves No, it went to a good home in Oxford, MS. He’s restoring it for his son, which is what my dad and I did with it.

Yeah those were the curvy ones starting in 92 I think, neat cars.

Good choice!
I just heard cheap, reliable daily. Well, if it’s been sorted out, it’s reliable. But 3rd gen are never cheap to maintain
Yeah parts are so hard to find
@@CarGroves looking for some specific parts for the rear suspension for mine for years now. Can’t find any in a good quality 🙄
I really dig the design of these cars. Inline v6 and it'd be perfect. Hate sideways motors.
RWD and a K24 and it would be perfect :)
@@CarGroves hell yeah
Just wire the fans to a relay and toggle. Be totally period correct to have a random toggle switch on the dash
lol whats wrong with my nitrous switch
