Loved the video. I would raise all of your makes by at least one point. I love that you learned so much from your mistakes and tried creative things. The stash busting is awesome and inspiring. This year my best makes were :- Randolph skirt from sewing the curve book by Cashmerette. I made it in linen which is a dream to sew with. A fix for me would be to make it not show your legs when sitting down. The second was a top made out of cotton using the Basics tunic pattern from Folkwear. I love the neckline and ease of sewing. I have adapted this pattern to make an outfit for a friend. I don't really swear much either.
The Randolph skirt is such a nice shape! And it's great you already know how to improve it too. Seems like you already have a favourite if you're making a pattern for a friend ☺️
A bumper length video of your 2024 makes gets a definite yes from me to get me through my first day back at work. We're always our own worst critics and you should definitely at least 1 point to all your makes! Thanks for sharing your successes and also telling us what you would do differently next time. I actually got the sewing class for jeans I wanted, and I'm so stoked! 💃🏼 Also got my birthday coming up in just a few weeks, so exited to see if anyone gets me anything fun for that too 👀
